"How often do you use your voice, Percy?" Piper asked, looking over at me.
I just shook my head. I didn't really know what else to say or do or anything.
'I need to go back to the Orphanage, at least to see how the kids are doing.' I signed, trying to stand up.
"Perce, you're hurt, you need to rest." Piper said, pushing me back down on the couch.
'Please Pipes. I have to see them.' I signed.
Piper sighed and let me up. "Fine, but I'm coming with you."
I nodded, and we both got up and started walking towards the door. About a half hour later, we made it to the Orphanage.
"Percy!!" Samantha exclaimed, with a hint of sadness in her voice.
"What's making you sad?" I asked calmly.
"Uhm, some of the kids got adopted. I want them back Percy!" She said, then started crying.
I picked her up, and she cried into my shoulder.
I walked around until I found Justine, one of the only people here who know sign language.
'Sammy said some kids got adopted?' I signed, managing to balance Samantha on my hips as I signed.
"Yeah, uhm, I think it was Jacob and the twins. To be honest I wasn't here when they got adopted. I was helping with Sam's school's after school program."
'Thanks.' I signed, then took Samantha to her room and put her on her bed to sleep.
"Your voice is really something." Piper said, and I kinda forgot that she was here.
