another day another plan
Eleven was currently searching for hopper , hopefully he's close
" I found him " she said
" where is he? " max asked
" woods "
" w-woods? " Lucas asked
" he. He's with wills mom.. " el added
" my mom? " asked will in confusion
" what are they doing? "
" ill-annoy, they are going to I'll-annoy " I looked at Mike , no way
" MIKE Y/N BREAKFAST! " mom called
" NOT NOW MOM! " we both yelled back
" Illinois? Illinois , like the state? " questioned Mike
She clearly didn't know what that was and shrugged , max then left to clean up her nose
Once they were gone Mike sat us all down as began to talk , I wasn't really listening though instead I was in wills lap with my head rested on his shoulder
The only things I really heard was Lucas suggesting we burn the shit out of Billy and Mike disagreeing
" mabye el does! " Will said rights in my ear making me jump out of his lap
And see Lucas and Mike staring at the bathroom door
" what are they still doing in their? " my lanky brother asked frustratedly
" I don't know.. Girls just like hanging out in bathrooms. " Lucas shrugged
" why? "
" because. It's the only place we can talk about girl problems boys drama or even joke around without some guy sexualising is for no reason " I explained
" their conspiring against me " where did he get that from?
" come on mike " I sighed
" yeah why is that what you are concerned about right now?" Will sided with me
" exactly! Thanks will" I leaned over and kissed his cheek " not every thing is about you Michel
" first I dont think that and second it's not my main concern it's a sub concern!" Mike argued
" I thought it was already over" will said through gritted teeth
" it's not over!" This guy " we are just taking a break"
" she dumped your ass that doesn't sound like a break!"
" exactly Mike."
" it wasn't!" Max yelled " you guys realise we can here what you're saying right?"
" conspiring, see , conspiring " with a roll of my eyes I grabbed wills hand and took him over to the couch were I sat us down
A knock could be heard at the door
" NOWS BOT THE TIME MOM!" I yelled
" y/n Mike, open the door!" Wait Nancy? What
I shrugged and got up , mike seemed just as confused as me but opened the door anyway, Johnathan was there two , oh god I could only see this going badly, they only hang out when we are all about to die. Or happy screaming
" what?" I sighed
" the mind flayer is back "
" well no shit! We figured that out like yesterday! Get with the program, anyway, how did you find out" I said sarcastically " we did a sauna test on Billy last night , dont tell me you are stalking Billy to."
" What ?no. Let us explain. " she came into the basement and told us all to sit down , if not Billy who was it ? Or was there more then one. I swear If there is more than one I'm gonna kill myself! " so me and Johnathan were doing our job being reporters last night-"
" you got a promotion?" Mike butted in
" Well no , we just gave ourselves that title to take a story this old lady , mrs Driscoll ,was giving us a story about rats who ate fertilizer, but this lady , this lady has schizophrenia and was the one eatingthe fertiliser , so it turns out the story was a bunch of bull and got us fired , or so I thought, I went to visit her , and she started having a seizure almost and the lights were flashing, in short , everything that happened to will last year was happening to her. And look at her body temperature "
She handed us a sheet that had different extremely cold temperatures on it
"He likes it cold " will muttered
" so this crazy old lady who eats fertiliser--"
" mrs Driscoll "
" right yeah mrs Driscoll " Mike replied in frustration " what time was this attack?"
" last night" Nancy responded
" yes we know it was last night , but what time?" I asked
" around nine?" Nancy and Jonathan slowly began to argue
But will butted in " you weren't there?" He asked his older brother
" yeah but I'm here now !"
" hallelujah!"
I gave Lucas a look of sheer entertainment which he returned, nance was funny when sassy
" so what time was your uh sauna test " she continued
" around nine "
The realization hit us all then
" shit there's more than one!" I said and flopped onto will sideways " why cant anything be normal! Why does the world hate us , jesus christ!"
" so if there are two flayed " lucas inquired
" we have to assume there are more" will replied while brushing his fingers gently through my hair
" heather, Billy wa doing something to her " I looked at eleven intently wondering what he could have done that was so bad " she was scared, she was screaming, bad screams"
" what's a good scream?"
" max said-"
" doesnt matter !"
I giggled lightly knowing exactly what they were
" I'm sorry I'm lost , who is heather?" Nancy asked
" she works at the pool " I sat up making will wine slightly " with Billy, I think shes a lifeguard "
" heather Holloway?" We nodded " Tom! Cmon kids we are getting in the car!"
" o-ok?"
We all got up fast and began speed walking to Johnathans car
" What is going on?" I whispered
" I dont know " will replied
Everyone got in first leaving me will and mike in the back , will was used to it at this point so it didn't make much difference but me and mike , never ever sat back there
" seatbelts "
We put them on and Nancy began to drive of my leg began to bounce in fear , where were we going? What if not only heather tom Billy and mrs Driscoll were flayed , so many questions
Suddenly wills hand rested on my leg
" calm down, nothing will happen to you , I wont let it " he said quietly making mike fake gag " shut up mike , I've been having to deal with you and el making out all summer!" He wrapped one arm around me and pulled me closer to him placing a kiss on the top of my head
Though the question still played through my head , could he keep me safe?
Who knows I guess I'll just have to trust him on this one....
