I sat in the back of the van in anticipation. God I hoped she was still alive. My leg began to bounce and will rested his hand on my thigh to calm me down . It worked
" hey " he rubbed his thumb on it gently " isn't it insane how a bunch of teens found a secret military base"
" yeah its .. pretty crazy " I smiled " I cant believe we are gonna see el again soon . Right mike?"
" yeah! Its amazing " he spoke with a smile " I honestly cant wait"
I smiled at my brothers happiness . It was rare to see him like this these days
" oh guys" I remembered something " in case things go south . I got us some.. weapons "
I pulled three guns and some throwing knives out of a bag
" for you" I handed them both a gun then Johnathan " argyle you dont get one because you are to high to walk in a straight line and I. I have the throw knives "
" can you even use those? Johnathan stop the car real quick I wanna see if she can use them " argyle said making Johnathan stop and let me out " hit that three right there"
" alright " I threw it and it hit the bark directly
" with a blindfold " i rolled my eyes and pulled one out of a portal then proceeding to cover my eyes with it and directly hit the tree once again " ok cool "
" yeah I know ." I got back into the van " anyway no more time wasting! Start the car and go!"
I sat back and played with the knives in my hand .occasionally throwing one at the back of argyles car seat to freak him out
" be careful " mike whispered " you might cut yourself "
" you think I'm not used to that?" I smiled weakly. The back of the car went silent " I mean . Like last year and this year I got shot in the leg and split open my forehead on a railing. Not ... that"
" oh . Ok" will replied while still fiddling with his fingers
We suddenly saw a helicopter over head
" holy shit" I looked up at it " what the fuck it going on, there are ... so many dead people " I teleported onto the top of the van . Where was eleven?
Johnathan began to honk the horn . I saw her.
" guys " i teleported into the van " I'm going in"
" what no-"
I teleported infront of eleven and helped her up then beginning to face the helicopter
" y/n" she said
" yeah it's me. Now what do you say we light this son of a bitch up?" She smiled and nodded " perfect "
We stood next to eacother hands facing the helicopter
We slowly made it shake . Gunshots went next to me and eleven. One accidentally hit my arm . Second time I've been shot this week . Great. I put both hands out with an intention to rip the airborne vehicle in half . But I didn't. Instead we made it circle around the sky and then fall to the ground casing a large explosion. Eleven fell to the ground and blood trickled down my arm
" EL!" mike ran over and crouched next to her " eleven " she pulled him into a hug . It would have been adorable if I wasnt bleeding out
" wow wow wow" will came over to me " I saw that you got shot! I knew you shouldn't have come out here " I grabbed some bandages from a portal " holy shit " i took of my shirt he wrapped them around my arm quickly " that. That should do " I put my shirt back on and we both faced eleven
She came up to will and gave him a huge hug. He began to cry
" eleven. Are you - are you ok?" She nodded
" I'm ok" she smiled
" hey guys" Johnathan spoke " we gotta go . We gotta get you outta here "
The collar she was wearing suddenly clicked and she was able to pull it off . We looked over to see.. DR BRENNER? WHAT THE FUCK!
" wait. " I said " isnt he dead?" Will shrugged " HEY DIPSHIT ARNT YOU SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD? "
" well hes going to be soon" mike answered " do you wanna heal him? Or would you rather not ?"
" nah that peice of crap gave el another buzz cut . Her hair was looking really nice to!" I looked over at her talking to the old man
She got up and walked back to us
" let's go " she said . We all nodded running back over to the van and driving off
" Hawkins we need to get to hawkins" eleven demanded
" we know . Max is in danger I had a vision about it " I said
" but first we need to get you safe . There is gonna be people behind us" mike added
" no mike we need to get to Hawkins tonight "
" well never make it that's over 2000 miles and y/n cant portal that far!"
" well we need to find a way! If we dont . They are all gonna die!"
" eleven " I interrupted " If you know they are in danger . Do you know what c f p m means?"
" they were talking about it when I saw them . They said something about Chrissy Fred Patrick and max" she explained " the first three are already dead "
" shit. Patrick we in basket ball Patrick! He was so nice and Chrissy Cunningham!? No way!" I said in exasperation
" isn't fred that person nance works with?" Mike asked
" holy shit . Holy shit he is! What If Nancy is in trouble?" I said
" everyone is in trouble !" Eleven interrupted " but not if we can get to Hawkins "
