Florence ended up staying at your house again, but you didn't mind. And you didn't miss when she picked you up and carried you to your bed, tucking you in. It left a warm feeling in your heart. But you were not going to tell Lizzie about this, because lord knows she'll interrogate you to no end.

"Morning," you said groggily, rubbing your eyes. "Morning love." she said cheerfully. You blushed at the nickname. "What's on the menu today chef Flo?" you asked and she chuckled. "Eggs and bacon. Sorry it's not fancy, unfortunately the owner of this establishment hasn't stocked any good ingredients." she put her hands on her hip while she said the last part.

"Well the owner isn't a fan of cooking." you deadpanned.

"Maybe the owner should learn to be a better cook." she teased.

Breakfast was nice as usual, something that you will cherish forever, moments like this. Being with Florence made you realize how lovely it is to be around someone who was most certainly into you. Not only that, but someone who cared about you. Your ex didn't unfortunately. He was a real prick but you stayed with him for five years. Because of empty promises you made for yourself. You promised things would get better as time went on, and every year you promised yourself that he'd be better but he never did. And it broke your heart. You weren't sure if you were going to tell this to Florence, your best friends Taylor and Lizzie are the only ones that know the full story.

But one thing for sure, you were not going public with it because you knew the media would twist it and chop it down to fit whatever narrative they were going for.

But you decided you should come clean to the gorgeous blonde, maybe it will spark something between you two. You cleared your throat, "Florence?" she hummed in response with raised eyebrows. And so, you ended up on the couch explaining everything that had happened with your past relationship.

She was a very attentive listener, something you admire about her. She comforted you when you needed it most, and handed you tissues when you started to tear up. She hated the fact someone would treat you that way. She knew she could treat you better, though. And that's why she kissed you.

You were caught off guard at first but then your hands got tangled in her hair as she laid you down on the couch. She broke away and smiled down at you. "I like you, Y/n, a lot."

"I like you too Flo." you said before kissing her again.

Who knew getting a role in a movie and trauma dumping would lead you to getting kissed by the most beautiful woman you have ever seen?
