You know better than everyone
At least that's how you speak
You don't need any of us
At least that's what you say
You stress me out
You drive me mad
But you gave birth
So I can't be mad
Why is it illegal to dislike your Mum?
You own me
At least that's how you act
Your expectations are so high
And climb higher with the times
Nothing I do leads to a win
Nothing I do leads to a grin
At least that's what it feels like
I try not to count the things I do
But you always count the things I don't
Maybe I'm just exaggerating
But you can be so exasperating
Sometimes you make it hard for me to like you
But that doesn't mean that I don't love you

The original title of this poem is Pekpektations.
'Pekpek' means poop in my local language so the play on words in the title by merging it with the word 'expectations' basically just means shitty expectations
