First Time For Everything (ON HOLD)

Reaching a Raise

      When I wake up, I feel something behind me. It's (c/n). I get up quietly and then proceed to get ready for work. It's silent. I then head out. As soon as I reach my workplace, I see Mr.Jones waiting for me. "I need you in my office once more" He says. I start to feel nervous. "Don't worry it's nothing bad" He assures me. I feel relieved and we head in. I head to the back to put my stuff up, then head to his office. "So I called you in today because im giving you a raise" He says with a smile. "Wait- really?" I ask with a big smile. "Yep you proved that you can work hard and comeback from your mistakes." He answers me. "Thank you so much Mr.Jones!" I say excitedly. "Your welcome, but you need to go work now." He says with a laugh. "Oh right" I say smiling awkwardly.

      When I get behind the counter, I feel so happy. It's a good day today. Then I see Scott and Mitch walk in. "Hey guys, the usual?" I ask with a bright smile. "Yep, also what's up?" Scott asks. "I just got a raise!" I say excitedly while making their coffee. "That's amazing!" Mitch says. I hand them their drinks and tell them the price. Once they paid. Mitch and Scott share a happy look. "So, are you free later?" Mitch asks with a smile. I feel the same feeling from yesterday when he smiled at me. "O-Oh yea I am" I stutter. Scott looks at me like he knows something. "Great! Well we are going to go to the beach today and swim, wanna join?" Scott asks with a excited look on his face. "Oh uh, sure" I give in. I don't really like revealing my body in a bathing suit. But it's fine. "Alright, well see you around 3?" Mitch says. "Yea sure!" I say back. It's almost the end of my shift. It's 1:45.

It's now 2:50 and I'm changing to get ready to go hang out with the boys. (C/n) is curious on why I am putting on my bikini. I just laugh and pet him/her. I then grab my backpack and put sunscreen, a towel, sunglasses, a water bottle, and some snacks in it. I then proceed to head out and make my way to the beach. Once I get there I see Scott and Mitch sitting on a beach towel by the water. "Hey guys!" I say and sit down next to Mitch. "Hey (y/n)! You look nice!" Mitch and Scott both say. "Thanks, took me a minute to accept wearing it" I return.

      "It's a nice day today" Scott says looking at the ocean, feeling the breeze. "It is, I just might take a swim" I say getting up. "Me too" Mitch says. " I'll join you guys" Scott says, helping up Mitch. Once we get to the water, I dive in so I was in faster. After I rise to the surface I splash at them. "Stop, I don't like being splashed!" Mitch says laughing. "Okay okay" I answer.

      "I'm so hungry" Mitch says. "Your always hungry Mitch" Scott says turning to Mitch. Mitch rolls his eyes at him. "I mean, we can go eat out, if you want to tho" I suggest. "That would be nice!" Mitch adds. "Yea we could do that" Scott says.

      We arrive at the restaurant and sit down at a booth, it's at the back of the restaurant so people won't really see us. "Hi, I am Stacy. And I'll be your waiter for today" She says. "What drinks would you guys like?" She asks smiling. After she takes our drink orders, she comes back and we order our food. "Oh ny gosh, this food is so amazing!" They say. "I am so coming back here" Scott says. "Me too" Mitch adds. "Well it's open most the week" I say, taking another big bite of (f/f).

      We finish our food and I pay. "You really didn't have to pay" Mitch says. "Yea, I could've paid" Scott says. "It's fine, it was my treat since you guys took me to the beach to hangout." I return. "It was really nice to go out with yall tho" I add, smiling. "We should go out more" Scott says. "Yep, but I need to get going now, see yall later!" I say walking back to my apartment. "Bye!" They both yell.

      "Time to take a shower" I think to myself as I'm getting clean towels. After I take a shower, I do my routine. Then head straight to bed, falling into a deep sleep. Dreaming of who knows what.
