I emptied the buckets of fish, gave away the daily papers, and fed Keighr. I think I'm forgetting something though.

"How are you doing Keighr?"

He just looked down and nodded. My smile quickly faded into a frown.

"Is it the food? I must've cooked it incorrectly again. I'm sorry. Hehe. I'm not as good as Dad. I-"

Keighr suddenly got up and started walking away. Before I knew it, his pace steadied and he was out the door. Fast as a bullet like Dad walking out for work.

"Hey. Hey! Come back!"

He got on my bicycle and rode away. I chased after him and nearly caught up. Huh. Who knew traning paid off?

"Keighr! It doesn't have to be this way! It can be better! Please! Come on buddy. I'm here! We can have more tickle fights!"

He looked back, cringed, then rode away faster.

"Come on Keighr. Please!"

He started slowing down and parked at the nearest open trail that leads to the forest.

"Oh how cliqué Keighr!"

I ran after the spoiled brat and found him hiding in a bush with his hands pressed together. Was he... Praying? Once he was finished, he turned around to see me with my arms crossed leaning on a tree.

"Don't tell Mom."

"I won't kid."

"Can you keep another secret?"

His eyes darted down as I took a deep sigh.

"Yeah."

I saw the hesitation. He was nervous.

"I think... Cal?"

"Huh?"

"I-I... think I'm depressed.
