▋000. SILVER RIDGE CREEK, CALIFORNIA. 1985, 12:47 AM. THE NIGHT OF THEO VALENTINE'S DEATH.

▋001. THEO VALENTINE. the golden boy. the sweetheart. the role model counsellor. always gave and never asked. always warm, never hostile to anyone he met. he would go far, they told him.

▋002. AND HE WOULD HAVE GONE FAR. would have. if that fatal night never happened. found slashed in his cabin alone, no trace of a murder weapon - or murderer.

▋003. ON JULY 7th, 1986 , the case was closed. almost a year after it had began. after months of searching for some sign of the person who did this. but still, questioning person after person, no clue was found. nothing . it was another teenage murder labelled as a tragedy, and deemed as unsolvable. life moved on.

for most people, anyway.

▋004. BLAIR VALENTINE. theo's younger sister, whose world was torn apart after his death. who would do this to a person like him? that's exactly what blair wanted to know. and now that the police wouldn't figure it out themselves, she'd do their job for them.

▋005. SHE'D NARROWED IT DOWN TO SIX PEOPLE. all six were camp councillors, well known and popular. and all could be tied to theo's death whether it was through secrets, jealousy, or just to protect their personal status. no one in their right mind was going to help the girl, but she couldn't just give up and forget about it just like that.

▋006. THAT'S WHERE THE DEVIL COMES INTO PLAY. it was a simple deal: he'd mark the 6 suspects for blair to rule them off, one by one until theo's killer was revealed. all blair had to do in return was kill all 6. It was beyond perfect.
