After break was finished, jake knocked at the principals office.

"Come in." The principal,
Miss Choi said.

Jake opened the door and walked inside.

Miss Choi was doing something with her papers.

"You asked to see me, Miss Choi?"

"Have a seat."
Miss Choi said and Jake sat down.

"Where were you yesterday?"

"Uh.. I was at home, sick."

"Jaeyun, save the lies."

Jake looked at her, confused.

"I know you snuck off the bus."

Jake frowned.

"What ? Who told you that ?! They're lying !"

"A concerned classmate brought it to my attention. Why would you do this knowing the consequences?"

Jake looked down.

"Your Father.."

Jake looked up again

"What will he do if he finds out?"

"He doesn't need to know."
Jake answered

Miss Choi just nodded.

"You're right. He doesn't."

Then she took a sip of her coffee

"Speaking of, how is your father?
He hasn't stopped by the school in a while."

"Dont worry, I'll make sure he does-"

"Jaeyun !" Miss Choi interrupted him.

"Dont think that your father's position, will let you off the hook next time. Understand?"

"Yes, it won't happen again."

"Get back to class"

Jake stood up and wanted to go

"And listen.."

Jake turned around.

"You should know who to trust at this school.. because next time,
I won't be as lenient."

Jake nodded and on his way out he walked past Miss Jung.

He gave her a glare and then walked outside.

"Miss Choi, you're letting him off the hook?"

"His father would ruin the school and go ballistic if he found out. We can't risk it. Atleast not right now."

Jake walked into the bathroom with Niki and Jay following him.

" everyone, Out !"
He yelled and all of  the few students ran outside.

"Not you, Hyun-woo. You can stay."

Hyun-woo is the janitor.

"So, what happened?"
Niki asked as he sat down on a bench

"Some asshole ratted me out.
Miss Choi knows that I skipped yesterday."
