It was midnight and me and Five were still in the van. Him and Delores were arguing, and I was drinking. At long last Lance came out the doors, duffle bag in hand.

"There's our guy." Five said.

"You don't say." I said, slurring slightly and quite drunk.

I watched him walk out to the front steps and stop, looking around. Simultaneously, me and Five leaned forward and squinted at him, curious.

A red car pulled up indront of him and he walked up to it. The window opened and he bent down, talking to the person inside. He took something from the driver and gave him the bag.

"What the hell is he up to?" Five asked.

"Why don't we find out?" I asked, smirking at him.

The thing the driver had given Lance was an orange envelope. He slipped it onto his inner pocket and the car drove off. Glancing around, Lance walked away.

Five reached over and grabbed my arm. We jumped and landed in the street behind Lance. We followed silently at a distance, he was never out of our sight and we were never in his.

We followed him all night. We followed him home, we watched his routine, we learned his family's names, there wasn't a second he was out of our sights.

It was morning. He was taking his dog for a walk before going to work.

We jumped into his car. Five in the front seat beside him and me in the back behind him.

"Oh, Jesus!" He yelled and jumped when he saw Five.

"Remember us?" I asked, leaning forward between the seats. I pulled out my pocket knife and pushed it go his throat. I forced his head back against the seat, if he moved it an inch his neck would be sliced open.

Five leaned in to him. "One chance. That's all you've got. One chance to tell us what exactly is going on in that lab."

"I- I manufacture prosthetic devices for fake patients. I bill the insurance companies and then send them for cash on the black market."

Well that was easy. Normally we could work someone all night long, Five and I, and they still didn't talk. It was so easy I almost didn't belive him.

"Including eyeballs?" Five questioned.

"Yeah they're my biggest seller." Lance said. "I mean, they sell like hotcakes-"

"We don't need the exact numbers Lance." I said. "Just tell us if you've sold our eye and who to."

"In regards to that eyeball, yes, it could have been bought. But- but it would have been off the books. No records other than my list, I mean I've got about twenty on it just today-"

"So let's go get that list." I said, holding the knife closer. Lance whimpered.

"Okay." He said, I think he was crying.

"Names and numbers." Five added. "Now!"

"Okay, okay. I'll get whatever you want." He stammered. "But, the only copy's at the lab. In my safe."

"Then I guess we're goin' on a road trip." I said, bringing the knife away and sitting back in my seat.

"Okay." Lance whispered. He glanced back at me and I waved, knife in hand. Lance did his seat belt as Five pressured him to hurry up.

Turns out u had cut Lance at some point. As we drove I cleaned my knife with a handkerchief I took off Lance.

We parked down the road and made our way towards the lab. I discreetly held my gun to Lance's side to stop him running as we headed down the sidewalk. Until we saw the smoke.
