Beneath the layers of dust, I hope that a part of your heart will always associate my presence with laughter, comfort, and happiness.
I wish now more than ever that I could resurrect those feelings and take us home, to a better place than we've previously known.
But to give you the freedom to make your own decisions is the most that I can offer in this moment.

I hope that life without you will not be cruel.
Seasons will change and I will wonder where you are on cold blizzard nights.
I will wonder if you're lonely too.
I will wonder if, despite bitter fragments of the past, you wish I was there keeping you warm.
Time heals wounds but incase it fails,
Incase I've truly lost my bestfriend,
I hope that you know how much your companionship has impacted me forever.
And I will always love you and the life that we've shared.
I will never abandon you.
If the future holds forgiveness,
I will be the woman I was always meant to be.
Time apart reminds me who I am and who I want to be, and who I love and how I want to love him.
Whoever I am to you now or in the future,
I wish to do nothing and everything with you some day again.
