This is story where TntDuo/Quackbur (Wilbur Soot and Quackity) are in Royal AU
-There will be fluff, maybe smut :shrug: (there will be a warning before both of these and they more than likely won't be plot based)
-There is trigger war...
When I finished the cold but delicious bread I headed back over to the grains shop and stood in line again, waiting for my turn. After a minute or two, I had reached the same employee again.
"Get lost kid. You don't have anything," the employee said to me.
I stared at them, "I do too!" I showed them my coins in my satchel.
They looked into my bag with surprise, "Huh... Alright then. What would you like?"
"Can I have another piece of bread in a to go box so it stays fresh and warm?"
They nodded and handed me a box of warm bread, there looked to be 3 pieces. "How much?" I asked, willing to pay.
"4 coins," they said, proudly. I smiled and knew this was a rip off but decided to not say anything and handed them 4 coins.
"Thank you!" I told them. They nodded and went back to help the other customers at the shop. I put the box of bread into my satchel.
I started walking home, ready for anything to come at me. As I was walking I saw a poster for the ball tonight, I took it and ripped it off, saving it for later. It started getting really windy so I looked up at the sky and saw some rain clouds, I quickly started running home.
One my way home it started pouring down rain, luckily I was pretty close to being home. I ran into my house, soaked with water. I set down my satchel and I looked at the poster. Why didn't I put it in my satchel to protect it somewhat from the rain? Smh. I put the wet poster on the kitchen table to let it air dry, I looked down at the poster, trying to read it.
Wilbur was on the poster smiling nervously, the text on the poster was faint, I could barely read it. I looked down at the time and place. "Meet Wilbur in the main ballroom at Sunset! Dress nicely! Peasants will be ignored!"
I looked outside to see the setting. Shit. I ran to my bathroom and hopped in the shower. 10 minutes later I got out of the shower and went to my closet and picked out a dark navy blue dress.

I looked at my dress and smiled, I put on heels and looked outside, the sun was definitely setting. I quickly ran to the castle, effortlessly, holding on my beanie.
