Chapter 2

The Next Morning 

I had just finished feeding Aaliyah and getting dressed for the day and getting Aaliyah dressed for the day after washing her and burping her, listen being a mom is hard alright. Now I'm making my way up the stairs already tired, I go to the dinning room to see Dillion talking about something an mom and Spencer sitting down and I just make my way over to the table but before I could sit down Mom stops me 

"Uh, little Missy, what do you think your doing" Mom asked with her eyebrows raised and I just smiled "Good morning to you to mommy" I say with a sarcastic smile on my face "You know what I meant, every morning when you come up her your supposed to give me the baby while you eat so, give me my baby" Mom said back and I just smile at her before eating my food

After I finished eating mom gave the baby back to me, and me a Spencer and the baby left the house for the day, look I love my mom to death but she can't tell me what I can and can't do with my baby, I can bring her outside if I wanted to 

later outside 

Me, Spence, and Coop were all walking with each other outside "Beverly Hills though?" Coops asked while looking at Spencer "Crazy huh?" Spencer and I both said and the baby started getting fussy so I picked her up out of her stroller and Spence took the baby and just smiled at her and kissed her on her forehead while Coop had the stroller. Spence has loved Aaliyah ever since the day she was born he sees her as his little sister and would do any and everything to protect her even if its from Shawn 

"Yeah man you told yo mom?" Coop solicited looking back at him and at me then back at him "Nah you know how she gets" Spence reminds Coop looking my way "I'm tellin you that woman don't play no games" I point out looking at my best friends "If Grace finds out you both got a chance like this, you'll be eating mayonnaise sandwiches by the end of the night" Coop chuckled toward us "Girl, I'm hispanic, you know I wont be eating that shit" I say with sas causing both Spence and Coop to look at each other before busting out laughing "Man, what is with white people and mayonnaise" Spence asked the two of us and I just shrug my shoulder "I don't know" Coop replied 

"Damn, Lia, yo booty lookin juicy" Shawn said causing me to turn to face him before rolling my eyes  "What?" I asked throwing my hands up "Coop, those girls roll with Shawn" Spencer stated  looking at Coop "You really want to play like that?" I asked hoping she would say no as I shared a quick glance with Spence  "Lia you can't even talk that's yo baby daddy" Coop reminded me "But you see I don't mess with him no more and I don't even wanna look at him after all the shit he put me through" I say and Spencer looked down a little sad but he looked back up  "Man listen that weak ass wanna be gangster can't touch me" Coop started looking at Shawn and his group of hoes and bros then back at us "Plus I got y'all for backup anyway, especially wit yo Puerto Rican, Mexican, Dominican ass over there, you think miss Grace is bad, shit, I'm not tryna be on yo bad side" Coop said making me smile and laugh before she walked away with me and Spence close behind 

A few minutes passed by and Coop and Shawn started  arguing "Shawn!" I yell getting Shawns attention before making my way over there and Spencer walking behind "What's up you beat females now Shawn?" Spencer asked getting in Shawn's face "Female my ass she-man more like it" Shawn commented looking at Coop then me then back at Spence causing Spencer to push Shawn down to the ground and Shawn's boys got into it and now it's a big fight, I'm just glad the baby is sleeping and not seeing any of this 

Time Skip

Spencer and I walk into the house after a long chaotic day seeing mom leaning on a wall with that football coach in our living room 

"We can explain" I say seeing her look at me "Spencer can explain" I say pushing him forward "You don't have to Coach Baker already did" Mom said causing me and Spencer to look at him "How are you Spencer, Rosa" Coach asked us and I just picked my baby up out of the stroller and made my way over to mom "Why are you giving me the baby?" She asked me "Because if shes in your arm you'll feel less inclined to yell" I say making my way back to Spencer while coach had a smile on his face from what I just said  "How could you both not tell me" Grace asked raising her voice a little "Mommy" I try to explain but she cut me off  "Don't mommy me" The women snapped and flinched back a little bit "Spencer I just wanted to help" Coach claimed "Look I don't need help I'm happy where I am" Spencer replied  "Happy, is that right"Mom asked tilting her head "You think I didn't hear about the shooting" Grace said and my eyes go wide "Look, Spencer, Rosa, I went to Crenshaw then somebody gave me a chance" Billy explained "I want to help you both find a way out" Billy suggested and mom ended up giving us a speech on why we should both give it a chance, we both look at each other and I nod "Alright, fine w'ell go... but only if we get to bring the baby with us" Spencer declared 

"That choice is all up to her mother" Grace said then all eyes are on me 

"Well. To new beginnings I guess" I say with a smirk on my face
