Chapter 4

I'm currently walking down the stairs after feeding Aaliyah and putting her down for a nap, then getting myself ready to have a pool day with Liv, Jordan and Spence, after I make it down stairs I see a lot more people then I thought

As I walk outside I feel a lot of people looking at me but I just ignore them and just keep walking until I sit by the edge of the pool and watch Spencer and Layla play around in the pool and they both don't notice me so I take the hint and get up and leave 

Now I'm sitting on a beach chair scrolling on Instagram and I see a shadow appear in front of me but I keep scrolling and the shadow is still there so I get off my phone and I look up to see Jordan smirking at me 

"Can I help you?" I ask with a smirk and he just takes that as an invitation to sit down in the chair 

"No, I just wanted to ask if your okay after that dinner and you know, talking about what happened to your parents" Jordan says with a genuine look on his face 

"I'm okay, it wasn't easy at first dealing with their death, I mean I was seven, and it was really hard growing up without them, I swear you think you've done enough and said enough until their actually gone, everyday there's so much I wanna say to my mom and dad but I won't be able to say it now" I say with a tear sliding down my face and Jordan wiped it away with his soft thumb and I look up at him for what seems like forever before snapping out of it 

"Just know that if you ever need someone to talk to I'm here for you" Jordan said putting his hand on my thigh and I nod my head before changing the subject 

"So when you said you want to hang out and get to know me better, I didn't think you meant having a party, what I thought you meant was coming out here and talking, and doing stuff like playing 21 questions" I say looking around at all the people 

"Well I wanted you to meet everyone and get to know them considering the fact that the last time you meet everyone you left a red mark on Asher's face" he says and I chuckle at the statement 

"Ok, so maybe I need a do over. Hi I'm Rosalia James, I'm 16 about to be 17, and I have a five month old daughter" I say looking into his eyes for a moment 

"It's nice to meet you, my name's Jordan, and can I just say that god definitely knew what he was doing when he made you" Jordan said and my cheeks went bright red 

"So what do you wanna be when you grow up?" Jordan asked me 

"I wanna be a CEO and build an empire for me and for Aaliyah so she can have the life I never had" I say ll

"Well I think that is amazing, but how are you going to start the company and what are you going to sell?" Jordan asked  

"Well to answer your question, I already have a huge following/fan base on Instagram and TikTok, and with the money my parents left me that should be able to start me off. And about what I'm going to sell, I've always had a passion for everything and I always said that I want to be my own boss, so I think I want to do everything instead of doing one thing" I say hopeful 

"Well that awesome, and I don't think I've ever met someone so serious about what they wanted to do and who they wanted to be, so I think you just became my new role model" Jordan says and I'm blushing so hard right now until I get a notification on my phone telling me that the baby's awake 

"I have to go get Aaliyah I will be right back" I say walking back in the house and up to my room to see Aaliyah wide awake and sitting up in her playpen and when she sees me she starts giggling and smiling and I walk over and pick her then proceed to leave the room and walk down the stairs and when people see me that stair at the baby on my hip as I walk outside and I see Spencer sitting where I was a Jordan gone
