Originally, I planned to go to Crenshaw to visit Shawn since things between me and him are better, but Spencer called me to convince Shawn to help get rid of Tyrone. As if I haven't been doing that since the day we became cool again. I drove my car there.
I got out of my car ans skipped over to Shawn's apartment gate and saw him standing there about to open the door with his keys. "Yo, Coop. Rosa just showed up too. We'll be inside in a second".
"Coop's here too?" Shawn nodded, his phone still presses between his ear and shoulder.
I started getting excited again, even though I saw Coop last night, and waited for Shawn to open the gate.
"Yo, Shawn" The two of us turned around, and Shawn instantly saw the blue and the gun, shoving me behind him. "This here's for Bonez".
Not even a second later, Coop heard gunshots and me screaming. With the impact of the bullets, Shawn flew back against me and I caught him, completely ignoring the Crips driving away. Shawn crumbled to the concrete, and I slowly set him down before trying to keep the blood from coming out and screaming for help. Coop could hear it all and ran out of the apartment while calling for an ambulance.
"Shawn keep your eyes open Damn it!" I yelled trough the tears, but even to me my voice sounded far away
"What the hell happened?!" Coop asked, the sirens in the distance already making their way to us
Through my sobs, I choked out "It was revenge for Bonez. He stood in front of me and took all the shots". I explain while Shawn bleeds out
"Just remember that I love you, and tell her that I love her too" Shawn said closing his eyes for the finale time and I lay on his chest crying and screaming as the ambulance showed up
Later
I was covered in blood, and after arguing with a cop about how I wasn't in the gang and how it didn't matter right now. I went home and washed it all off like nothing happened and I got ready for the homecoming game

The game was already at halftime and besides the fact that I was putting on a brave face, Beverly hasn't made a single touch down. The cheerleaders had done a short performance, and went back against the fence. Olivia came and sat next to me and saw how broken I looked
"Hey what's wrong?" Liv asked rubbing my back
"Yeah I'm fine lets just get through this night and have a great party after" I say putting on the best fake smile I could
Out of nowhere Chris grabs my hand and we run out to the field "Sir, where are we going?"
"Malibu stole every play, so they're borrowing some Crenshaw plays". Chris explained "you and I know them best"
"I don't play them".
"No, but you help create them, and ever since you did Crenshaw has had a great football team" We walked up to the team and I looked at everyone with a sheepish smile "She's helping incase I mess up".
"Wait, Ro, you know football?" Billy asked
I just nodded
"Spencer plays and I have to makes sure he doesn't suck, like you guys are doing tonight" I say "Now everyone stop talking and pay attention. If you lose this game, I'm breaking everybody's kneecaps tonight". I say
Spencer smacked his lips and pushed me away by my forehead "You've been saying that since we were 7, shut your ass up".
Jordan came over and I smiled up at him since I'm 5'3 and his like 6'1. "Throw post corner, Baker. Now, go kick some ass".
"what, no good luck kiss?"
"if you lose this game, you won't get shit. Go away before I kick you" Jordan laughed and before ran away he put his helmet on and kissed my forehead
Chris and I watch from the sidelines and Jordan called the play and threw it halfway across the field, confusing the entire Malibu team, to Spencer who caught it at the end of the end zone. "Finally! Shit" I cheered "If you need me I'll be over there".
With the new turn in the game, the Beverly band started playing music even louder than they already were, and as usual, the cheer team danced and cheered along to it. Chris and I stood at the sidelines giving the team more plays to do in the last half of the game, and because of it, the team was quickly progressing and scoring more. When there were eight seconds left of the game, the score was 14-14. Those last eight seconds were extremely intense because the next time to make a touch down was going to the playoffs. Right now the ball was Beverly's and seeing how they haven't been in the playoffs for years, everyone was silent.
When the whistle blew, the ball went into Jordan's hands and I noticed that he tossed it over to Spencer before he took off running down the field. Everyone paid close attention as Spencer threw the ball down the field and broke out into cheers when Jordan caught it. At that point, he was only five yards away from the end zone, so once he pushed away one of the Malibu players with his helmet, the game was pretty much over.
Jordan made the touchdown before the time ended, and everyone on Beverly's side started cheering. The first time since Billy Baker became head coach, the team was going to the playoffs and the moment felt so surreal to everyone, especially to the team. Jordan celebrated for a moment as people slowly started to leave the stands and run out onto the field to congratulate the team. It started with the student section and then soon enough everybody's family was on the field
I ran out to the field and came face to face with Jordan "I made the winning touchdown, can I get that kiss now?"
I sighed and shook my head "Hell yes" Jordan didn't need to hear anymore and immediately picked me up and kissed me and I wrap my arms and legs around him and he just looks at me for a long time
"What?" I ask smiling
He takes a deep breath before saying "Be my girlfriend" and I look at him for a minute before smiling
"Finally" I say and he looks at me confused
"What? What do you mean finally?" he asked
"Took you long enough, and duh yes I will be your girlfriend" I say and he didn't need to hear anything else after that in that moment we were just happy
Later
I'm at Chris's party with Jordan in the bathroom at his place because Jordan wanted to have a little party of his own and I'm a little drunk

After we left the bathroom we went to the back yard and when Jordan saw Spencer he went after him and I was so confused on what was happening and by the time I knew what was going on Jordan had left and the party was over so for the rest of the night and winter break I'll be in my house with my baby and hopefully Jordan
