Ang aga aga tawag ng tawag. Istorbo naman. Bwisit!

I picked up my phone on the side table and answered it without looking at who was the caller.

"Speak! This better be important" I said

[Good morning, princess. Is that how you greet me in the morning?]

Napatayo ako bigla sa pagkahiga. Nubayan!

"What is it dad?" I asked

[I just want to check how my daughter's doing.]

In the opposite line, I overheard him giggling a little.

Woah. That's new! My father doesn't like greeting me for no reason. Unless he is up to something.

"I'm fine dad! And please just get to the point, alam ko naman dimoko tinawagan para lang kamustahin" i rolled my eyes even though he doesn't see me

He tsked and sighed

[You know me too well. I just found myself thinking about your brother. He is obstinate, so I'm hoping you have some positive news to share with me.] he sound serious

"I have some badnews and goodnews. Which of the two news you would like to hear first?" I asked

[Badnews first dear, as always]

Yup, kami lang ata ang gusto makarinig muna ng badnews bago ang goodnews. Mana mana lang.

"Alright. The bad news is that I was still unsure of Alexius' location. That moron, in my opinion, was aware that we were hunting for him. He his hiding very well."

[Okay. So the goodnews?]

"The goodnews is I got a hunch, just a hunch, where Alexius is, but the thing is I need to join a gang to get more information. You know what I'm talking about dad"

[That's easy. Finn already fake your identity right? Then give it to them. Easy as pie]

"Dad, it's not that simple. They doesn't seem to be satisfied about what is written there, I suppose. So, I requested Finn to revise my certification. I just hope everything works out since I'm already worried about that boy."

[You are totally aware of how stubborn your brother is, but you had better go quickly because I have business in Japan to take of.]

"I got it. I will handle this immediately. You don't need to worry, just focus on your treatment and stay healthy"

"Watashi mo aishiteru yo, oto san" I replied (I love you too, Dad)

Then he hang up.

I stretch my arms and ready to go to sleep again, but it rang again.

Jeez. Ano ba meron ngayon at panay sila tawag ng tawag saakin.

Unregistered number calling...
