Chapter 13: The Necklace

ALEXIA's POV

As King stated the previous day. There will be a celebration in my honor. I'm not sure why this is even necessary.

Tss!

Getting out of bed in the morning is tiresome. I was exhausted last night because we arrived home late. I arrived home around 2-3 a.m. yesterday night. Paano ba naman nagyaya pa mag late dinner si King. Kaya ayon late ako nakauwi tapos maaga pa magigising? Tf!

Sabi nga nila, lokohin mona lahat wag lang ang kulang sa tulog.

"WHAT?!"

[Where the heck are you?! Everyone is here]

Damn!

Agad ko nilayo ang cellphone ko sa tenga ko ng sumigaw si Bryce.

"What the heck! I'm on the way. Wag kayo magmadali"

[Where exactly are you?!]

Imbes na sagutin siya ay agad kona pinatay ang tawag. Nakakairita siya. Umagang umaga. Hayts!

I turned to gaze at the van that had been following me for some time. Isabay mopa ito sa init ng ulo ko. Late na nga ako nagising, pinapamadali pako, tapos itong van na 'toh sasabay pa.

Van Kidnappers are a trend these days.  I increased the speed of my engine. Nang silipin ko ang side mirror ko ay ganun din ang van na sumusunod saakin. It also speed up to match my pace.

"What do you want from me, fuckers?!" I muttered

Lumiko ako sa isang kanto, kung saan ang mga kabahayaan ay dikit dikit. Squatter Area. I have no idea where I am and assume I am completely lost.

My phone rang again so I immediately answered it.

Isang napakalakas na sigaw ang agad na bumungad saakin.

[WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU, BLACK?!]

Black. Yes yan ang codename ko. Cool right? Fave ko panaman din yung kulay na black. That's the only thing that comes to my mind.

"Fuck!" I cussed when those people started shooting in my direction

[What the hell was that?] I heard Damon ask on the other line

[Anong nangyayare jaan, black?] Myles asked

"I've been chased!" Sagot ko

Nakarinig ako ng samot saring mura mula sa kabilang linya.

Nang tingnan ko ang side mirror ko ay halos lumipad na ang van para lang makahabol saakin. What the fuck they want from me?!

I couldn't hear what was being said on the other line because they continue firing. I accelerated my driving. Nag drift ako ng may kanto ako nakita. Tss.

Mukang marunong din magdrive ang driver nila. Dahil nagdrift din ang ang van na sinasakyan nila. Badtrip!

I passed an abandoned building with three floors. I immediately parked my motorcycle on one side.

Good thing I always have a handgun with me. I took the bag I was carrying and also the cellphone that was attached to my motorcycle.

"I'll call you later. Let me handle this fucker first"

I hung up the phone and dashed into the building. Bahala na si batman. Matagal na nanahimik ang demonyo. Wag lang nila gigisingin.

Alexia ran to the abandoned building. Even if the sun is shining brightly, it is quite gloomy inside. Its only source of light is the sun coming through the windows.
