"Eww" Lyla frowned, flicking a large bug off of a leaf of an Asgard plant. She and Loki were on Asgard, about to capture Odin. And they were hiding in a clump of bushes. With lots of bugs.
"How long does he need to spend on his hair?" Loki asked, disgusted. Odin was in his room with the door to his balcony open.
"Not as much time as you do," Lyla teased. Loki rolled his eyes in response.
"Here he comes. You use your magic to immobilize him, and I'll do the talking," Loki instructed. "3, 2, 1, now!"
Lyla jumped out of the bush and immobilized Odin with a lazy flick of her hand. His body was covered with a thin, green shield. And then Lyla made him float a few inches off the ground just because.
"Alright, Odin, your time has come, I hate you, me and my girlfriend are taking you back to earth where you will stay for the remainder of your godly life," Loki's last words seemed to be dripping with sarcasm.
"M-my son, you have found love. Congratu-" Odin began to speak in an oily tone, quickly grasping the fact that Loki and Lyla were not going to let him off easy.
Loki cut him off by slamming a mouth cover onto Odin's face. "I remember when the Avengers put that thing on you. Even then you manged to look hot," Lyla sighed.
Wearing a slightly proud grin, Loki grabbed Odin's immobilized arm and Lyla's hand and said, "You can go on and on and on about how good I look later. Right now, we've got to get rid of this. We'll dump him at wherever we're supposed to dump him, then come back here, and I'll be Odin. Lyla visibly shuddered at the idea of her love turning into the awful snake that is Odin, but nodded anyways. Loki squeezed her hand gently, then teleported them back to earth.
••they dumped odin off and are back in Asgard
Lyla let go of Loki's hand as they spun into Asgard, back into Odin's backyard. "Freedom," she looked at Loki and grinned.
"We've never really had true freedom," Loki remarked.
"Yeah...Well, now that I've got freedom, I want to sleep," Lyla declared.
"You've got freedom to do whatever you want, and you want to sleep?" Loki scoffed.
"Yes. Join me?" Lyla asked with puppy dog eyes. "I want cuddles."
Lyla grabbed Loki's hand and pulled him into Odin's room and onto his bed. Loki protectively wrapped his arms around Lyla and spooned her. Lyla held on to Loki's arms, loving being the little spoon. Loki started stroking her hair.
She quickly fell asleep in Loki's arms. Loki decided he should go to bed too and fell asleep.
