Nearly ten years had passed since the Dursleys had woken to find their niece and nephew on the front step, but Privet Drive had hardly changed at all. The sun rose on the same tidy front gardens and it lit up the brass number four on the Dursleys' front door, it crept into their living-room, which was almost exactly the same as it had been on the night when Mr Dursley had seen that fateful news report about the owls. Only the photographs on the mantelpiece really showed how much time had passed. Ten years ago, there had been lots of pictures of what looked like a large pink beach ball wearing different-coloured bobble hats - but Dudley Dursley was no longer a baby, and now the photographs showed a large, blond boy riding his first bicycle, on a roundabout at the fair, playing a computer game with his father, being hugged and kissed by his mother. The room held no sign at all that two other kids lived in the house, too.

Dorcas : "I feel bad for this kid, he definitely did not hit the jackpot in the looks department."

Lily hit Dorcas on the head before scolding her for insulting her nephew.

Yet Harry and Rosaline Potter were still there, asleep at the moment, but not for long. Their Aunt Petunia was awake and it was her shrill voice which made the first noise of the day.

Petunia: "Up! Get up! Now!"

The twins woke up with a start it their separate rooms. Their aunt rapped on the door to Harry's bedroom again.

Marlene : "Isn't that a cupboard door."

Lily : "Of course not my sister wouldn't let my kids live in a dusty old cupboard. It must be like some cool secret room."

James : "That's such a cool idea, we have to have the twins bedrooms have secret entrances!"

Petunia: "Up!"

Harry heard her walked towards the kitchen and then the sound of the frying pan being put on the cooker. Harry rolled on to his back and tried to remember the dream he had been having. It had been a good one. There had been a flying motorbike in it. He had a funny feeling he'd had the same dream before. His aunt was back outside the door.

Barty : "He can remember the Motorbike. That's impossible at one a child's brain won't have matured enough to remember such an event."

Molly : "Clearly he is important, were you not paying attention to anything Dumbledore was saying."

Petunia: "Are you up yet?"

Harry: "Nearly,"

Petunia: "Well, get a move on, I want you to look after the bacon. And wake up your sister, I want everything perfect on Duddy's birthday."

Sirius : "Why are they making him do house elf work."

Ted: "The muggle world doesn't have house elves. Muggles do everything themselves."

Bellatrix : "Just another reason we are superior to such scum."

Sirius : "None of us want to listen to St. Mungos run away psychiatric patient."

With this Bellatrix turned away and huffed whilst leaning back of her husband. The Gryffindore table were all laughing at the insult towards the slimy snake.
