"Disappointment is an understatement"
Xiu's mother deadpanned at her daughter who was sitting infront of her computer, gazing at star dancer's routines done in the opera while she munched on her favorite honey bread, ignoring her mothers presence
"Look at your room, I've never seen a dancers room this dirty before"
Xiu clicked her tongue in annoyance as she paused the video and turned to face the older
"For once i'd like to see you to stop pointing out every negative thing you find and atleast look into the good things your daughter did"
Xiu said as she walked out of the room while aggressively chewing on the soft bread as the red bean paste stained the corners of her lips
Her mother crouched to carry a handful of clothes that were on the floor
Sighing, she dropped the clothes into the laundry basket
As much as she hated to admit it, she did feel bad for Xiu
Even after getting kicked out from her academy she still chose to watch videos and practice by herself
And it's not like she didn't notice the small bruises on her feet
She would shrug it off as that's the price a ballerina has to pay
But ofcourse the mother in her had to come out and do something for her own daughter
Xiu was the only one she had after her husbands death, not to mention Xiu was exactly like her father
Her features were similar and so was her passion for dancing
She remembers the first time her husband and her took xiu to a ballet class while they were staying in France
It was his idea since he wanted his daughter to try something new
And possibly even, walk her fathers path
He was a dancer himself before her met Jing and as soon as he got to know he was going to be a father, he let go of everything in attempts to spend more time with xiu
Unfortunately the happy family had to come to an end after Xiu's father got into a accident
Tears brimmed Jing's eyes as she clutched onto the hem of her shirt
She let out a sigh as she wiped her tears and sat infront of her computer

"Xiu?"
Her mother called out as she knocked on the door, Xiu lazily got up and opened the door while giving her the please-leave look
"We need to leave now"
"What?"
Xiu asked confused
"Don't you want to buy the uniform? Louis Foundation is very strict when it comes to uniform plus your old tights have torn"
It took Xiu a minute to process what her mother was trying to tell her
And when she was done loading she looked at her mother dumbfounded
"Louis Foundation of Classical Ballet? Masako's institute? THE BIGGEST BALLET TRAINING CENTRE OF SEOUL??"
Jing fought back a smile as she saw how happy Xiu seemed
She nodded as she closed the door for her to get ready
Meanwhile Xiu was still jumping around and pinching the air
"HIME MASAKO I'M ONLY A FEW STEPS AWAY FROM MEETING YOU AND ACCOMPLISHING MY DREAM AHHHHHHHHHHHH"
