Xiu immidiately scowled at Masako who was sitting, more like glaring at xiu
"You can sit Xiu"
Kyungmi said to which Xiu followed
Masako's eyes stayed fixated on Xiu, she couldn't believe she was replaced so easily with the coach's new 'favorite'
"I don't like to beat around the bush so imma get straight to the point, You two will be competing in this years opera But! Since Xiu is still a fresher and there will only be small competitions and recitals that would go on till december, i think it's best to let you two participate in the main event"
"WHAT"
Xiu stood up but immediately regretted her decision as her knee collided with the leg of the table causing her to fall and land on her ankle
"Tch clumsy"
Masako said, turning her head back to Kyungmi
"But coach, practice rounds and recitals are important as well, Ms Chen can participate next year"
"That is my final decision Ms Hime, I will not withdraw from it, You and Ms Chen will attend the finals only. You two are gifted ballerina's, so i dont think you would need to take part in those small events. Besides it looks like Ms chen will take time to recover from um that"
Kyungmi looked at Xiu who gave her a cheeky smile with a thumbs up

Masako stood behind Xiu who was limping and blocking her way
Her efforts in trying not to make a big deal out of it and walk normally went in vain when she hissed and held her ankle
"Here"
Masako extended her arm forward, Her eyes travelling everywhere around the room
Xiuwas hesitant but held Masako's hand which guided her to a seat
"Don't think too much of it, I am only doing this because i want to win and i wont let you and your clumsy ass get in my way"
Masako said as she sprayed the pain reliever on Xiu;s ankle
"It looks swollen so probably get it checked"
Masako used her knees for support and got up, looking at xiu who seemed taken aback at the sudden injury, As someone who's been through this Masako could almost read Xiu's mind and smiled
"It wont affect your performance, its just you sprained your ankle and it will heal in a week if you take good care of it and don't move much, I can tell the coach you wont attend for a week while you take some rest"
Xiu couldn't understand if Masako was really being nice or just planning on helping her and in the end push her down the stairs
But either way she felt grateful to know that Masako wasn't always a brat
She nodded to which Masako walked back to Kyungmi's office

"Wow you look very messed up"
"Thank you for the compliment Mr Park, You are helping me so much by doing absolutely nothing but judge my misery"
Sunghoon chuckled as he held Xiu's arm and let it cling on his shoulder
"I'll try to walk as slow as i can, you can put your weight on me"
"I have to walk?"
Xiu whined
"Do you expect me to carry you bridal style?"
"What are we? A Married couple?"
"Hahaha that's the last thing I'd imagine our relationship to look like"
"God you are so tall"
"I suppose that is a compliment?"
"I feel like my arm will come off"
"Quit complaining miss clutz"

Xiu took her arm off his shoulder and leaned on the other leg
Sunghoon sighed and crouched infront of her
"What are you doing?"
"Climb on my back, I'll give you a piggyback ride"
"Alright"
Xiu immediately jumped on Sunghoon's back, taking him aback from how comfortable Xiu seemed to be carried
"You big baby"
"I will poke your eyeballs out"
"Sheesh you scary witch"
Xiu laughed as Sunghoon walked, with Xiu guiding him
