In Illyria, where mermaids mind their own business and lure human prey so they can use to feast from hunger and use for their skin. There was one particular mermaid who wasn't like any merms around her. Piper swims around the shore enjoys collecting sea shells and study human habitats and wonder what would it be like to be one of them. Many merms disapprove Piper because she doesn't want to hurt or kill, Piper wasn't like that and even if a little fly passes by she would let them be. Piper got use to being on her own and the isolation in her little home but one day she had the courage and decided to visit the human surface luckily there was a carnival on the pier, many humans gather around for the fun and festivities. When Piper passes by the humans just stared or walked away Piper just wanted a friend or perhaps a stable relationship with someone. Then she came and Piper knew her life was going to change.

Who is that girl? Piper glanced near the deck and saw gorgeous blonde hair that look like gold in the little sunlight from the clouds, she had dark skin like a Hershey's bar, her white dress that barely covers her long legs, and dead fish earrings close to her gold looking locks, her eyeliner never a mess and when she blinks Piper's chest tightens. The girl looks over to see Piper's attention and this made the girl smirk as she uses her pointy curling it to get Piper's attention. She was being a wallflower for a moment but this could be her chance so she went for it.

You better it that or you'll end up frail and I don't think I would date someone who's weak and frail. You gotta have a backbone for yourself these days even if you don't like it. Astrid saw a few merms pass by her and dipped her feet in the water.

Piper hate what she did but being a mermaid meant you have to follow certain things humans are the prey but Piper believes that all humans should have peace and be loved by the mermaids even ones who are hard to show love to. Piper sees a napkin close to her eyes and saw Astrid wiping her tears away.

Promise to never leave me... Piper said shaking a little as Astrid wiped the blood dripping from her sharp teeth,
