Ava was rushing around her room getting dressed today is the day Carole and Maggie were arriving with the kids and Ava couldn't be more excited to see her best girl friends and favorite kiddos.
"Ava you ready to go?" Maverick asked as he walked into his sisters room where she stood in her bra and a pair of jeans holding up two different shirts
"Which shirt do you like better?" Ava asked her brother holding them both up
"Their both cute. But didn't Carole get you the blue one for your birthday?" Maverick asked pointing to the blue cropped tank top in Ava's left hand
"Oh yeah, I better wear it then huh?" Ava asked tossing the other shirt onto her bed and pulling the top over her head. "Now I'm ready. Oh wait! I almost forgot."
Ava rushed over to her small closet and grabbed two gift bags out of the bottom holding them up with a smile on her face.
"I have to keep up my role as fairy godmother." Ava said as she walked out of her room with Maverick right behind her
"What'd you get the rascals?" Maverick asked putting his arm around his sisters shoulders
"I got Bradley a really cool shark tooth necklace and a stuffed seal since that's his favorite animal. And I got Sarah a shell bracelet and a stuffed dolphin." Ava said proudly, she takes her roll as godmother to both kids very seriously and takes every chance she can to spoil them
"Damn, I need to pick up my game." Maverick sighed making Ava chuckle and pat her brothers shoulder
"So. How did it go with Charlie?" Ava asked curiously, she couldn't deny the fact that her brother seemed to be in a much better mood and she suspected that it was because of a certain instructor
"Fine." Maverick shrugged
"Just fine?" Ava asked amused
"Yep. Will you look at that it's Goose and Ash, we better go don't want to keep them waiting." Maverick said pulling her towards the parking lot
"I'll get the details out of ya at some point." Ava shook her head as they walked up to their RIO's
"Ava you can ride with me and Mav can ride with Goose." Ash said since they would have to take two cars in order to fit everyone
