EXTENDED : juliette blackthorn has lived with tatiana blackthorn for most of her life. she grew up with jesse and grace, and she lived a pretty sheltered life. at least, until she realized that she had powers. she realized that she could glow, create and control light, and fly. she also realized that she could duplicate herself and be in a clone of herself, which was how she met matthew fairchild. they met in the nights for years using juliette's powers, and they fell in love. and then juliette makes her debut in london, and shit goes down from there.

— juliette's powers are basically inspired from karolina dean's powers from the runaways. her skin glows and it stops when she wears the bellefleur ring that she's had since forever, she can create and control light to her bidding, and she can fly, which is how she meets matthew
— she never tells matthew that she's a blackthorn until her debut
— but they have history from before her debut. he read her oscar wilde and introduced her to his dog. they spent nights upon nights talking about nonsense. they know everything about each other except for their darkest secrets — matthew what he did to his mom, and juliette that she's a blackthorn
— so imagine matthew's surprise when she arrives but he dances with cordelia instead of greeting juliette unlike james w cordelia
— juliette's a lot like grace in which she's cold, unfeeling, and stoic. she's very dry when she speaks to people who she has no interest towards. she's very loyal to her adoptive family, especially since her and jesse basically raised grace, despite the girls being the same age.
— juliette mainly sticks to hanging out with matthew, jesse, and grace. i feel like she'd be pretty okay with christopher and lucie and alastair. maybe she'd be good with thomas and cordelia? james and anna absolutely hate her because of her association to grace and matthew.
— juliette does keep meeting matthew though in cog and coi but their relationship isn't really public?? like it's obvious but they don't really have a label on them
— juliette and matthew'srelationship breaks by the end of coi ( maybe juliette asks matthew to marry him and matthew refuses??? ) and that's another reason why matthew goes to paris

— honestly the ending depends on cot but the og r&j didn't get a happy ending but the r&j in taylor's song did so you can decide on that
