MAXS POV:
"Ugh I am so bored" I said while rolling my eyes. Suddenly I see two unfamiliar faces walk into the cafeteria.
"Mike" I nudge him lightly, "look" I say while pointing at them "I think they're new here", "They definitely are" Mike said . "Let's go introduce ourselves to them." I said while walking towards their table. "Hello" I said while giving them a friendly smile. "Hi" said the gorgeous brunette.
I can't take my eyes off of her. Her eyes are a beautiful hazel brown color and her beautiful brown shoulder length hair. I suddenly snap out of it and continue "you guys are new here right?" I asked. "Yeah we just moved here from California" the beautiful brunette said. "I'm El and this is my brother Will" she continued "hi I'm Will nice to meet you two" Will said. "I'm max and that's my best friend Mike" I said while giving them a smile "nice to meet you two" I continued.
We chat for 30 mins until we get interrupted by the bell ringing. "We should head to class" I said "what class do you have right now El?" I continued, "science" El said "great, me too, come on let's go you wouldn't want to be late for science" I said while smiling and putting my hand out for El to take, "okay" she says while taking my hand.
At that moment I felt a spark of electricity rush through my entire body, am I...catching feelings for her? No ofc not...right? We arrive to Mr Clarke's science class and sat down next to each other.
"Okay class, today we have a new student" Mr Clark says while looking at el. "Why don't you come on up and introduce yourself?" He says while giving El a comforting smile.
She goes to the front of the class and introduces herself. "my name is El, I moved here from California with my step brother Will." El says while shaking a little.
"Well it's nice to meet you El you can go back to your seat. I want everyone to be extremely nice to El and make her feel welcomed."
"We will." The whole class says.
I smile at El while she's walking towards her seat next to me. I held her hand trying to comfort her cuz I can tell that she's nervous. "It's okay everyone here is so nice don't worry about anything. I'll help you with everything you want" I whisper to her while giving her a reassuring smile. She nods and the lesson starts.
3rd person POV
It's the end of the day and max and el are chatting next to the lockers while putting their books away in their bags.
Max: "hey El?"
El: "yeah?"
Max: "do you want to come over to my house or just hangout at the mall rn?"
El: "I don't mind. Whatever you want. I honestly don't want to go home cuz it'll be just me and Will."
Max: "okay then so the mall?"
El: "yes sure."
Max: "okay but first I need your number."
El: "oh yeah. (She gives max her number) here."
Max: "okay thx, now let's go, my car is parked outside."
