Erinne's POV.

"Hmm, if I remember correctly we do have a few travel cases in the storage room," Elliza mumbled.

It's currently the day before I leave and we're having a bit of a problem with my stuff. I don't really plan on leaving with a lot of stuff but Elliza and Ryan kept on adding stuff to my luggage which then resulted in me needing more than a big travel case and a few boxes.

"We'll stop over at the mall for a couple of hours, will you and Sophia be okay here?" Ryan asked once he and Elliza reached an agreement.

"Yeah, I still have a few things to clean up anyway," I replied which made them nod.

I accompanied them to the garage and only when I can't see the car anymore did I enter the house. I couldn't help but gaze at the entirety of the living room once I came back in.

This house is filled with so much memories.

"What? Are you reminiscing and soaking up the picture and detail of this house because you're leaving tomorrow?" I looked at Sophia standing by the staircase and she looked at me with her sharp eyes.

I smiled softly at her despite the look of contempt she was giving me.

"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you sooner." She rolled her eyes as she went back up.

I sighed before following her. I can't leave with her like this, I am aware that I am not her favorite person but still, she's important to me.

When I reached the floor where our rooms were, I took a few steps towards her room and found out that the door was wide open. Grabbing the chance that it is only us two here in the house, I knocked on the already open door.

"Can we talk?" I didn't get her usual dismissive "no" and so I took that as silence meaning yes.

Once I entered her room, I immediately saw her by her study table, scribbling on her sketchbook. I looked around and saw how her room was filled with picture frames, posters of K-pop idols I'm not quite familiar with, and others. Her loud and creative room contrasted with my minimalistic room.

"I'm not leaving with all my belongings and I don't plan on locking my room so you can borrow or even take a few of my things, I wouldn't mind. A few of the clothes that I think are your style are already hung on the rack outside my closet so you won't have a hard time finding them. Don't worry, I also talked to Elliza and Ryan about letting you go on outings so I think you won't have a hard time asking for per---," I stopped mid-sentence when she slammed her pencil down.

"So, you're really leaving just like that? You're even telling me all this bullshit like you're leaving a damn will behind huh?" I sighed at the number of bad words her statement had.

I was never able to comprehend Sophia's way of communicating, but I never hated her for it.

"It's not like I'll be leaving for good, I'll come to visit whenever I can—" I was again, cut off.

"And who said I cared? I don't give a damn." A sad smile formed on my lips.

I then approached her and hugged her from the back, I could feel her tremble a bit.

"Don't worry, I won't look," I mumbled as I continued to hug her and gently caressed her arm with my thumb.

It was a bit uncomfortable to hug her from behind as she was sitting down but I didn't let her go. Her soft sniffs were heard as I held her in comfortable silence.

She was always like this. Ever since she was little, I could hear her muffled sobs and soft sniffs as she tries to hide her tears. Tears that I was always aware of.

"Who'll leave me dinner outside my room every time I'm being a brat once you leave? Who'll lend me stuff I forgot to bring to school? Who'll leave energy drinks and snacks in my locker to make sure I ate something during training? Who'll make unique cringe cheers and posters whenever I compete?" I sighed.

Sofia's walls fell apart just like that and it aches me, it aches me that I can't do anything about it.

"D-Do you really have to go?" She whispered which made me hug her tighter.

"I'm sorry Sofie."

And with the mention of her nickname that I rarely call her by, she cried harder. And all I could do was hold her.

Just like old times.

---

"Make sure to call," Ryan reminded and I nodded my head.

I couldn't help but smile when I saw my family see me leave, I tried so hard not to shed a single tear because I wanted them to send me off with a smile. For once I saw all of them cry I might just not leave.

Tara, one of our maids approached me and handed me a medium sized box.

"Looks like you have some last minute parcels from your friends," Elliza said with a smile as I reached for the box.

It was a bit heavy but it's not something that I can't handle.

'For Our Beloved Erinne' was written on top of the box.

"Miss Simons? It's time," the chauffer called.

Right, I was being picked up by a car provided by the school. It was nice actually, I didn't want to bother Elliza and Ryan with that even though that would've meant I got to spend more time with them a bit more.

I placed the box inside before looking back to the family I have loved and will continue to love with my whole heart, to the family who stayed by my side and made me who I am today.

"Wait!" Before I could go back in and leave Sophia rushed to me and hugged me tight.

"Take care of yourself." I looked up preventing my tears from falling before hugging her tight.

"I will."

---

The car ride to my new school and to my new home was a quiet one. I wasn't really in the mood to go with my classic small talk and get to know the chauffer.

I sighed before looking at the box beside me, despite knowing that I might feel motion sickness I reached for it and opened it. Couldn't help but think how much they knew me and my limited patience on trivial things enough to make it so that the package is easily opened.

Once I opened the box I saw how it was filled with different individually packed stuff in different shades of yellow and brown, each of those paper wrapped stuff had an envelope with them.

"One... Two... Three... Four... Five... Si--." Before I could finish counting the packages inside the box a bright light shone and I suddenly felt drowsy.

Before I completely lose my consciousness I heard a soft voice.

"This will look like kidnapping but I hope you'll hear us out."
