TW: short description of physical pain

Hope could only feel disgusted, the urge to say something strong. She couldn't breathe, her hands started shaking, and the rage broke her bones. She could only see red.

"I have to go" She barely got out to Jed before running out of the gym.

Hope didn't know what was happening, but she knew it wasn't good for herself or anyone. She remembered what Josie told her about the transitioning cells for wolves. That's where she needed to be, for everyone's safety. The thought of Josie made her mind go crazy. She ran to the cells and curled into herself, in pain, and nobody around to help.

MEANWHILE, AT THE GYM

"Jed, where did Hope go?" Josie asked, noticing the absence of the Tribrid.

"I don't know what happened. We were talking and then suddenly her eyes turned into a mix of gold and red. She said she had to go and ran away." Jed started to explain.

"Josie, I think her wolf is making her turn without her control."

"WHAT?! We have to find her." Josie raised her voice as a spiral of concern overtook her emotions.

"Okay, let's go to the woods," Jed responded as they started to leave the gym, leaving the other wolved behind.

"NO, we should go to the transitioning cells first. Come on, Jed, we can't leave her alone." Josie stressed, making him hurry.

"Jump on, Salzman. We'll be quicker if I carry you." Jed said, and Josie immediately jumped on his back before he ran away with his wolf speed.

Indeed, Josie was right. As soon as they heard the screaming, Josie jumped off Jed's back and ran to Hope, who locked herself into a transitioning cell.

"Hope I'm here. You're not alone. Open the cell." Josie desperately tried to open the cell and reach out to Hope. But once a wolf was inside the cell, locked in chains protected by a spell, only Alaric knew how to break.

"Josie, what are you doing here?!" Hope almost screamed with the breath she had left from the pain of her bones crashing. She did not want Josie to see her that way.

"Hope, I know you're in pain, but you can do this. You've done it many times before." Jed tried to reassure Hope. Although being able to turn at will is different than being forced by the moon, he knew the excruciating physical pain Hope was going through.

"LEAVE!" Hope screamed at both of them. Hope has been turning for what felt like an endless eternity of pain. Her bones keep cracking and reforming. Something is holding her back from finishing her transition, expanding the torturous pain.

Josie cannot keep seeing her in pain. She knew Hope had to be out, that her wolf needed to be free.

"Jed, go get my dad!" the brunette siphon witch told her friend.

"Are you sure? I don't want to leave you alone." Jed questioned.

"JED, GO NOW!" Josie commanded her scream, making him leave immediately.

Hope was breathing heavily, trying to push through the pain, so she begged Josie to leave.

"Hope, I am not leaving you behind." (A/N: Anyone sees what I did there? -N) Josie reassured the redhead whose entire body was aching in excruciating pain.

A short while after Josie tried her best to comfort Hope verbally, Jed and a breathless Alaric arrived, running to the cells.

"Dad, you have to open the cell!" Josie immediately told her father.
