Erin pulled back the covers of the bed in her apartment for the woman, helping her slide in, shoulders and head propped up on pillows.

'Is this my side now Er?' Holtzmann murmured with a grin, her eyes a little glazed looking from a new dose of medication.

Erin snorted, her eyes still a little puffy from all the tears.

'This can be your side if you want,' Erin said with a smile.

Holtzmann nodded as she closed her eyes briefly, touching the bandage softly and she groaned a little. She opened her eyes back up, looking from Erin who was standing at the side of the bed to the neat, organised room around her. She'd been to Erin's apartment many times and glimpsed her bedroom, but to be inside, in her bed, it was a different feeling.

The feelings, emotions she had kept inside, kept to herself, but the displays of affection and desire, the nights they'd spent together, skin touching, arms cradled around the other. This made it all worth it. This made it all okay. It made all the hurt and the pain and the tears worth it. Because Erin felt the same, Erin felt the same way. Erin loved her. Erin was in love with her.

The walls of the bedroom were painted a stark white with framed artwork sitting in clusters, and their colours warmed the room. Holtz looked around the room, taking it all in, it felt different being inside the walls, rather than just in the doorway as she had been in the past, waiting for Erin to be ready so they could all to go out. There was an ensuite and walk in robe, both of a decent size and Erin followed the woman's gaze.

'You need the bathroom?'

Holtz shook her head, 'Is there enough room for my clothes in your wardrobe?'

Erin snorted with laughter and Holtz joined in, grinning at her, Erin sitting on the bed next to her.

'Already inviting yourself to move in here huh?' Erin said with a smile, knowing that whether they lived together or not they would be inseparable, they always had been.

'Oh, oh right,' Holtz said with a smile, 'you're new to this lady thing...so uhhh...things happen quickly...'

Erin laughed and let the feeling in the pit of her stomach, the one that had been growing for months engulf her now, she loved how it coursed through her body, how it ignited when Holtz looked at her. She accepted the fact that she had been in love with the blonde for a long time. Longer than she could put a time frame on. Because Holtz made her heart beat harder, Jillian made her look forward to each day, each morning, each afternoon, each night.

'My place isn't as nice as this...'

Erin laughed, 'I know, I've set foot inside before and it was thankfully brief.'

'Heyyy,' Holtz said with a smirk.

'We can talk about everything tomorrow okay, you're injured, dosed up on medication and you really need to rest.'

Holtz nodded, her eyes skimming the room again and she looked back to Erin.

'Can we go to sleep now?'

Erin smiled at the woman.

'Not yet Jill. You need to stay awake a little longer okay. How's the head?'

'It's okay, I mean it's sore, but it usually is around you, it's always spinning.'

Erin laughed as she fell softly into the bed next to the woman.

The blonde attempted to scoot down but winced in pain.

'Take it easy Holtz, you've had quite the hit.'

They were laying facing each other and Erin reached up to smooth the tuffs of hair peeking from beneath the gauze.

'Of course, our relationship begins with you being injured.'
