Everyone seemed to be busy at the moment, All of my friends couldn't be there to hangout besides Mari so she decided to invite me over
Today was cold and breezy so it wasnt an appropriate time to go somewhere entertaining. Just walking to Mari's house made me feel like I had been stepping into a blizzard,

Timeskip to a few hours at her house

"Hmm.. we've been doing the same thing for hours, aren't you bored?" Mari picks at her fingernails

"Mhm..You're right, usually we have something to do."

"Wait! I know what we could do, but tell me if you want to do it!"

"What is it?"

"How about we go get boba!" Mari exclaimed happily

"Sure why not, I have 20 dollars!"

"Okay let's go!"

I put on a pair of sneakers on and wrap a warm maroon jacket on my arms. Mari and I step out of the building, Strolling  past the frosted plants, the harsh winds press against my skin slowly a flushed look appears on my face.

"I'm a bit cold!"

"That's what you get for not wearing a jacket, Haha!" I laugh at the shivering girl

"I thought it was supposed to be 98⁰ today!!"

"You can have my jacket! If you want?"

"No thanks, you are probably gonna get cold too.

"I've been wearing the jacket for a while.. So.. I'm warm enough!

"Trust me! Its ok"

"Nah its fine, I have a long sleeve on!"

"Well okay then.." she agrees sounding unsure

We finally make it to the entrance of the café! I was completely exhausted and immediately took the chance to sit down at one of the tables , resting my head softly on the dark wood.

"Which boba tea do you want?"

"Uhm.. I'm going to order the (favorite flavor)"I reply muffled

"Okay then I'll pay!!" She smiles

"Wait! Mari I'll pay for us"
I realize that she sprinted to the cashier counter and was already was naming our orders. She unfolded the money and paid the cashier the money she had , Damn it!  Mari!
The dark haired girl turns to me with her signature grin

"I didn't want you to spend your money!"

"Hmph whatever!" I whine

"You always pay for me, I think it's time for me to give you something back."

"Fine, it was nice but still.."

You sipped your boba quietly staring off in space watching the ice melt off the windows . Mari then shoved a chocolate chip cookie in your mouth

"Hehe! Don't be stubborn to me!!!" She joked

"Heyyy!!!"

The staff and cashiers gives you two werid looks as you both continue to throw macaroons at each other and aggressively sipping the tea
