Naruto was the son of the Yondaime Hokage Minato Namikaze and the son of the red death of Konoha Kushina Uzumaki. He had two loving parents who loved him but it wasn't enough for Naruto as he knew that his parents had prioritized training his twin sister Mito due to her status as the Jinchuriki of the Nine tails. Naruto was very smart and wise for his age so he quickly understood his parents need to train Mito in order to prevent her from being quickly and easily provoked emotionally by the enemy which would result in the Kyuubi negative chakra to flood her system and make her lose all rationality.
When he had overheard the conversation between his parents and his godfather Jiraiya about the prophecy of the toads that Naruto had grown angry with his family who had quickly chose to train Mito more then him since they believed with her being the Jinchuriki of the Kyuubi that she would be able to control and harness the powerful charka of the powerful Biju in the elemental nation. Being the smartest, he was given scrolls to train with by his parents who had believed that he was smart enough to train himself like his father and despite his pride in their praise he felt disappointed when seeing his father and mother spend more time with his sister being ignorant to his needs in having a quality time with his family.
It was during his training in one of the forest owned by Konoha that Naruto stumbled upon a cave where he met the mighty Fire Dragon Igneel who after seeing the strong resolve in Naruto to grow stronger to protect those he cares about and his overall motivation to not be bound by anything such as fate had impressed Igneel enough for him to take Naruto as his successor to his powerful Magic. As he grew older being trained by the man he had come to see as a father had made Naruto quite strong as he looked ahead of him and never looked back to his family whom he still loves but was no longer desperate for their attention as before and resolved to prove them wrong.
How will the world react to Naruto's power? How will Naruto's family react to Naruto sudden change? Will Naruto become the strongest Shinobi in the elemental nation and defy fate by becoming the hero of his story or will he be another victim of fate screwing up with him? One thing was for sure, Naruto's flames will surely burn fate itself and mold his own future.

Velgrynd
Velgrynd is an orphan girl who had a first hand experience to the true nature of the shinobi world that they live in having her parents killed by the shinobi after a small skirmish between two nation, this in turn had influenced her personality quite a lot as she grew older. She was one day taken as the successor to the Scorch Dragon Queen, having trained and excelled in using her magic.
She and Naruto had met during their joint training whenever their respective dragon parents took them to meet each other. Velgrynd had fallen in love with Naruto at first sight due to his dedication to his dreams and his hard work in achieving and earning his strength without taking any shortcuts but most importantly he had seen and understood her more then anyone else and had agreed that the shinobi world is a dirty place where adults scheme and start wars to their own benefits ignoring the collateral damage as they come to refer.
After their dragon parents departure, Velgrynd had joined the village with Naruto pulling the strings to have her position as his teammate secured. Naruto and Velgrynd had started a romantic relationship at the age of 12 right after their dragon parents departure in which they marked each other becoming official mate.
Ino stated that Velgrynd is fanatically devoted to Naruto that a lot of people are quite scared of her with Itachi stating that Velgrynd is the type of person that would be willing to turn the world upside down for Naruto's sake and that she doesn't care that much about others that isn't Naruto and that she's also not above using violence and other underhanded tactics to keep Naruto safe and happy.
Despite how she may appear to others, Velgrynd is a very kind person who helps other who has a similar circumstances such as herself and other who are in need of help but is quite distrusting due to her childhood and doesn't like to get close to anyone else aside from Naruto.
