"Come on mattheo we've been dating for almost 5 months why can't people know?" I say sitting on his bed

"Cause it's...weird."

"Weird how? Are you embarrassed?"

"Y/n you're being ridiculous, it's just not the right time."

"When is it gonna be the right time?"

"Later, for now let's just go hang out in the common room"

I nod my head and we both go to the common room, no one is in here so I sit on Mattheo's lap, I'm hoping someone walks in so people could know.

I just don't understand why he doesn't want people to know. "Y/n get off, what if someone walks in hmm?"

"Who cares?"

"I do. I told you people can't know"

We get interrupted by Draco walking into the common room "Oh uh am I interrupting something?" Draco asks awkwardly

"Nope we were just leaving" Mattheo says pushing me off of him

I roll my eyes "We're dating." I state

Draco's eyes widen "Seriously for how long?" He asks excitedly

"5 months." I reply

I look at Mattheo and he is giving me a death stare, he grabs my arm and takes me to his dorm.

"What the hell is your problem?" He shouts

"I told you I want people to know you're mine."

"Y/n this is just temporary."

"Temporary? Are you being serious?"

"All relationships are temporary. People shouldn't know something that's not gonna last"

"That makes absolutely no sense." I state laughing

"Yes it does"

I shake my head. "You're crazy mattheo"

"Crazy for not wanting the whole school up in our business?"

"Make up your mind! Is it because you don't want people in our business? Is it because you think this isn't gonna last? What is it?"

"It's both, and way more, I have reasons for the things I say and do"

I roll my eyes "Fine then I have my reasons to break up with you."

He laughs "You're joking right?"

I shake my head "Nope. I feel like I'm the only one who cares for this relationship."

"I care y/n, you don't know anything"

"Oh well, that's not what I see."

He laughs "Go then y/n, no one is stopping you from walking out that door"

I hesitate for a second before slowly making my way to the door, I pause for a second and turn back to look at him.

Am I really doing this? I think to myself.

"W-wait." he walks up to me and lifts my chin up with his fingers "Fine. People can know" he says

A huge smile forms on my face "really?" I ask

He nods "yeah I guess I was being a little... excessive"

I nod "Sorry for blurting it out to Draco, he's probably told loads of people already"

"It's okay darling, we're fine now, let the whole world know you're mine."

"You confuse me sometimes." I reply smiling

"Does this mean your not breaking up with me?" He asks

I shake my head "Do you deserve it?"

He laughs "Sometimes.."

"No Mattheo I'm not gonna break up with you, I care for you too much"

He smiles and kisses me.
