Me and my wife we're eating dinner and I leave the room for a moment due to a call from my mother "one second, I promise I'll be right back"
I tried to get to the point with my mother
"no mom I'm not going to take Jackie in until he figures out what he wants to do"
"but why? He's your brother, don't you love him?"
"I do, it's just right now me and Rosalie are tight on money, we just paid off our student loans."
"Alright love you Jean"
"love you too mom"
When I come back Rosa is pushing her food around her plate "do you think I'm fat?" She says with small tears in her eyes "yes, but that is not a bad thing" I walk over and hold her face "because that gives me more places to kiss" she smiles a bit "oh you goof"
"Alright I just spent twenty minutes on this and you better eat it" I go into almost a whisper "also because it cost like fifty dollars"
"I know 'American prices'" she giggles and we end up eating the rest of our food happily
