It's been 1 year 4 months 18 days 7 hours 46 minutes and 17 seconds since Sadie death.
I would know I am counting. She died in a way befitting her. She died saving her family. The house of life.
He knew he was never the main object to her affection that title would go to walt but he still loved her.
He knew that if he wanted to find love again he would have to wait centuries. He also knew that many gods convinced he would try to bring her back kept her spirit away from him and she now lives with her father Osirosis.
He would never try to bring her back. He would never do that to her. Life is dangerous and mean. Death is peace eternally. He would never try to rid her of her peace.
He wasn't like that so he never sought her out. He also knew one day walt would join her and they would love each other until the world came to an end.
He knew he would never get that peace and he had long accepted that it would be impossible to find a mortal the gods were going to let stay by his side.
And he long accepted it.
