(I still don't know how many parts I'm going to split this story into, so for now it will be "part 1, part 2..." but when I decide it will be changed to something like "[1/5]". This warning also will be removed.)
A few very important warnings before the story begins.
1- No need to worry, you don't need to know much about Greek mythology to understand the story. Just looking at the story of Hades and Persephone and a quick survey of who these gods are is enough.
2- This is an au, that is, alternative universe that takes place in Greece and more specifically in Greek mythology. I took the famous tale from the romance of Hades and Persephone and put some characters from One Piece in place of the Gods of the story.
Here goes the list:
Hades: (Y/N) (gender: male) Persephone: Luffy Cerberus: Perona (yes, Perona. Cerberus takes away people's will to live, so...) Charon: Brook Hermes: Usopp Helium: Sabo Zoro and Sanji are also in the story as created characters. They are (Y/n)'s servants (Zoro is like a bodyguard and Sanji is the cook) And there's a brief mention of Hancock, who in this story is Aphrodite's twin sister.
3- This story contains some triggers, one of them and the main one being incest. Incest was normal in mythologies, so don't think it's weird because it was normal, okay? I repeat, incest was something normal only in mythologies. I'm NOT saying this is right or should be normalized. I'm not going against my own rules for, in this context, not being wrong.
4- Some information I made up for the sake of history, they may or may not be real. I don't know. I'm too lazy to search for it. If any of them are true, it's just coincidence.
5- The story is not entirely faithful to the original story.
6- Nothing that happens here I am normalizing, romanticizing or encouraging. This is all for entertainment purposes only.
7- This was also a little inspired by my father's book. Take a look if you're interested (his book is in portuguese from Brazil):
