From that first post there have been 3 other posts about Chasue, which isn't a lot, but it is getting more popular relatively fast.
So, in a very very messy and improper conclusion:
Charlet shippers have moved to Chasue to deal with Chase poofing out of existence and probably not coming back (since the story likes to make Scarlet suffer).
With all of the fanart, the next thing coming is fanfics. Though I haven't seen any on AO3.
