A New Record

Back in the present Leo was walking up the wire that led to the top of the Brooklyn bridge while holding 125 pizza boxes with one hand. Lizzie was following him to record a video with her phone.

Leo: I've got this. Concentrate. Your girlfriend is continuing on you to break the pizza box stack record! 125 boxes!

Lizzie: you can do it Leo!

Leo: thanks Liz! They say it couldn't be done but look who's doing it! Me!

Mikey and Donnie caught up to them

Donnie: go ahead leo but my record stands until you reach the top is when you will get a new record and according to my calculations is highly unlikely. Lizzie why do you encourage him?

Lizzie: because it's fun! You guys taught me that

Mikey: yeah we did! And according to my calculations as long as you believe in yourself you can do anything! Sophie says that all the time!

Leo: thanks little brother no one believes in me more than me. Expect Lizzie

Lizzie: that's right! Leo! Leo!

Mikey Lizzie and Leo: Leo! Leo! Leo!

Leo made it to the top of the bridge and he was still holding all the pizza boxes. Then he dropped them all to celebrate

Leo: yeah! I am Leo!

Lizzie: congratulations!

Raph was waiting for the four of them at the top

Raph: there you are. I've been looking all over for you guys.

Leo: guess who just broke the record?!

Lizzie: 125 boxes! I got the whole thing on video!

Raph: what?! seriously?! Leo How did you-! Stop distancing me! We were supposed to be training-

Leo: hold that thought. Donnie?

Mikey: Donnie?

Lizzie: you know you want to.

Donnie: Leo. Leo. Leo.

All except Raph: yeah!

Raph: Leo we have work to do and you dragged them out here for this?

Leo: training or record breaking? The choice was clear

Raph: Lizzie I thought you were the responsible one

Lizzie: I am the responsible one but I like to have fun and relax a little bit to.

Raph: my point is not everything is about you Leo. When are you gonna grow up and start acting like a hero?

Leo: and there it is. Lady and Gentlemen

Leo: this is a little game I invented. Every time you say the word 'hero's' we take a bite of pizza.

Lizzie: the girls are doing it to

Raph: I don't say 'hero's' that often!

Lizzie tried not to laugh and they all took another bite of pizza

Raph: you know what? So what If I say he- that word a lot it's a good word. We need to be that word

Lizzie: I agree with you Raph but think about everything this team has done since the day I met you guys. What did we accomplish together?

Raph: we defeated mutants bitten by Oozesquitoe, draxum and now he's our friend, big mama a bunches of times and the shredder twice

Lizzie: exactly we deserve a break and that's a responsible thing to say

Leo: what Lizzie is trying to say is that we got this hero thing figured out. Our ninjitsu is off the charts we've got some great mystic weapons

Leo made a portal and a pizza slice fell out of it then the portal closed

Leo: and like Lizzie just said we defeated the shredder twice!

Raph: you just don't get it!

Donnie got an alert on his phone that someone was robbing a bank

Donnie: looks there a bank robbery.

Raph: lets go team!
