"If you're going to moan you know where the door is" I laughed at Lando
"Look all I'm saying is, I don't understand why we have to watch such a crappy football team" Lando sighed. Lando, Dan, Jon, Michael and Blake were all gathered in the house, ready to watch the football. Summer break was still in full swing for them, although slowly coming to an end, although not for myself who was back and forth to MTC, but it was okay, I still got to come home and chill out. Daniel got back from his little lads holiday two days ago, and I had missed him like crazy but it was fun to have everyone back. Well Michael had been back and forth as he lived in London anyway so he kept checking in and they hung out a little while Daniel was away. Michael didn't go, normally for summer and winter breaks the two switched off from each other a little since they spent most of their time together anyway.
Lando had come back from Ibiza, and for someone that didn't normally drink, wow did he. He was still slowly recovering.
"Hey!" Michael yelled from the cinema room, I walked in with some snacks with Lando behind me, helping.
"You forget he supports the same team as Alex" Daniel laughed, I winked at Michael as I sat down next to him.
"Yeah, crappy" Lando reiterated. I stuck my tongue out at him as he settled on the sofa "although to be fair I won't say no to watching football, particularly on this sofa" he smiled. I nodded at my achievement. We all were spread out but fixed on the screen to the build up of the English football match, it was amusing that Michael watched English football but I appreciated it, they all did but Blake and Daniel weren't all that fussed, they preferred Australian football, which was actually more like our English rugby. Our football to them was soccer, which was weird to me.
It was a rare moment we were all free of tasks, Michael and Jon were starting up their intense training for Daniel and Lando again, it lessened a little bit now with only a week to go until we were heading to Belgium for the second half of the season. I cuddled into Daniel and settled down to watch, soaking up all the time I could with him.
The following day I went for a little girly day with Hannah, and of course little Noah. Daniel was doing his own thing again, which was a little sad because since the Spain trip we had barely spent time together, but we would soon be together day in and day out once the season started again. I parked the car after safely arriving at the shopping centre, a little nervous about driving with a child in the car, but Noah slept the whole time, it made me laugh. I got out and helped Hannah with taking the buggy and Noah out of the car before she wheeled him towards the doors of the shopping centre.
"Can we get something to eat first? I know we just got here but I'm starving and Noah will wake soon for a feed" Hannah spoke
"Absolutely, I skipped breakfast to so that's good with me" I agreed. Hannah nodded and we made our way to the food court and sat down in a really nice place together, and as if on cue, Noah wriggled and stirred and started crying, he certainly knew what time it was.
"How are you finding things?" I asked Hannah once Noah was settled and feeding, and our breakfast had been ordered.
"I'm good, I'm less stressed and worried about being on my own, I've got my parents and some family around. I just know I'm going to miss Liam so much when he goes back to work" Hannah said, she frowned slightly
"When does he come back?" I asked her
"Think as you guys go back after summer break. So Spa" Hannah said "when he does, can you do me a favour?"
"Anything" I smiled at her
"I know you're friends with him anyway. But keep an eye on him, I know he's apprehensive himself" Hannah said
"Of course I will. He'll be good, I know he'll miss you like crazy, he's so in love with you Hannah, and of Noah. I've known him for so long, and I've never seen him like this and it's beautiful. You're little family is beautiful" I smiled at her, she giggled a little and Noah had fallen asleep
"Thank you, it feels weird now with everything, but I'm so happy" Hannah smiled down at Noah
"Perfect little family" I smiled, watching them both. They were a beautiful little family.
The last few days of work and summer break flew by, and suddenly we would be on our way to Belgium for the first race back, I was hoping everything would go as wonderfully as the first half, Daniel had the best chance to win the championship this year, and I'd be lying if I didn't say I was hoping he would. Of course I wanted what was best for the team and I wanted Lando to do well, but I was definitely behind Daniel.
I smiled when Daniel walked into the bedroom and settled into bed with me, our suitcases sitting at the door, waiting for us to leave in the morning. I had barely seen Daniel for most of the time we'd both been back as our schedules never seemed to line up, so going to bed was my favourite time, no one disturbed that for us.
"I love you" I snuggled into Daniel's open arms and whispered softly, I was already sleepy so I knew it wouldn't be long, especially wrapped up in his warmth. One of my arms rested on his side, my hand softly tickling his back, and along his shoulders that were exposed due to the lack of clothing he had on.
"I love you" he whispered back, placing a soft kiss on the top of my head, it made me smile "I've missed you"
"I know, but we're working hard. You especially" I said before yawning
"It'll all be worth it" he said. I nodded in agreement because it would be.
