"Derek" Isaac screamed running into the train wakeing both occupants up Derek instantly looked for Acacia

"What the hell" she shot up from the chair, she hated loud noises they sent her into high alert causeing her heart to hammer in her chest. Her eyes moved to Derek, she was surprised he hadn't left her

"Its my dad I think he's dead" Isaac stammered out of breathe and soaking wet, Acacia stared at him she didn't know why he was there she didn't even know he knew Derek

"What did you do" Derek accused him

"That's the thing, I didn't do anything something attacked him, it tore him apart" Isaac shivered she couldn't tell if it was from the cold or fear it seemed like both from the way his body was shakeing

"Here sit down" Acacia wrapped the blanket around him and sat as close to him as she could without getting uncomfortable. She wanted to comfort him, to take his hand and tell him everything would be alright but she couldn't bring herself to do it

"Thanks" his eyes were still full of fear but his body relaxed slightly, she wanted to feel bad about his dad but she couldn't she had gotten a glimpse of him and even for that second she had seen the awful things he was capable of

"Okay I'll do what I can but for now go to school, it's like nothing ever happened. Acacia go back to sleep" Derek informed them throwing another blanket at her and walking off to deal with whatever was happening, Acacia felt that she had stumbled into the middle of something she didn't fully understand

"Are you still cold" she wrapped the other blanket around him as he stared at a spot on the seat across from them he must have been traumatised or in shock, it didn't matter how much you disliked your parents it still hurt when they were gone

"You know, I'm glad he's dead" Isaac sniffed trying not to cry "he was awful"

"You don't mean that" she grimaced she had hated her parents at times but she wished she could have one more day with them now that they were gone "No matter how much he hurt you, you can't find it in you to hate him can you"

"Yeah how did you know" he looked at her a droplet of water fell across his eyes makeing it look like his ice blue eyes were melting

"My dad was a narcissist who always thought he was right and i was exactly like him we didnt have the best relationship he prefered my brother" she could feel her clothes beginning to dampen on the small patch that was touching him. Acacia was suddenly aware of how close he was to her, she could feel his body heat and the muscle under his shirt. The memories threatened to surface and she shifted away from him needing the distance

"I'm sorry" he said regretfully

"Hey its not your fault our lives sucked" she laughed feeling her heart flutter it was easier to help other people than deal with her own issues "now let's get to school"

"Derek told you to go to sleep" he threw of the wet blankets shaking out his damp hair

"I've had enough sleep I want to go to school get that done with and figure out whats going" Isaac looked at her as if she were crazy which she was at times

"Wait your here and you don't know anything, are you human" Isaac asked shocked he thought Derek would have told her

"I'm not human, I'm a werewolf like you just Derek dosent have time to tell me anything right now not that he has to, he didnt turn me, the old Alpha did hes just taken me in"

"If you need anyththing you can ask me on the way to school" he smiled before faltering "if you want me to walk with you"

"That sounds great let me get my jacket" she reached into her bag pulling out her favourite jacket it no longer hung over her hands like it used to and it had lost its scent but it had sentimental value "bye Derek" she screamed not knowing how far away he was
