Part Sixteen

Acacia stood with Scott in Dereks apartment, it no longer seemed light and comfortable. They had to talk about the alphas who were a huge issue. If not for Scott she wouldn't be kept informed, Derek no longer cared and Isaac was living with Scott

Scott said tentatively "I was takeing Allison home when I ran into Deucalion" that was not a good start to the night

"I thought you two were broken up" Derek asked

"We are I was just takeing her home" Scott said suspiciously

"Let's move on from this what's the plan" Acacia changed the subject

"Well we get rid of Deucalion and everything should be fine" Cora said sure of herself, she patted Acacias back knowing when she needed help

"No were not killing anyone we've lost enough" Acacia said carefully she didn't raise her voice to Cora she wasn't mad at her she was mad at Derek

"Look if you cut the head off the snake then the body will die" Derek said annoyed

"Oh and the last time you killed a snake it went so well" it was hard to keep her anger under control with the rising tension "this is a trap we can't just run blindly into it, I know what there capable off"

"You have no say in this" Derek shouted furiously causing Peter and Cora to step away. Acacia stared at him shocked before remembering she had been through worse

"Yes I do, I have the most say in this im still going to protect my friends from them and you" as Scott pulled her back from Derek her sleeves slid up to reveal deep scars in her wrists caused by the wire that had bit into her forever "Scott im leaving"

"We can't we have to plan" Scott said gently, he didn't want to know what she'd been through to get her scars

"Then let's do this on our own" she snapped pulling down her sleeves. She didn't want them to her as weak

"We will, just not till tomorrow thats the agreed time" Scott laughed smiling as gently as he could

"Who sets a time for something like this" she asked confused he helped her feel better "you know what who cares there all psychotic anyway"

She lay in the train stareing at the ceiling, she hadn't been able to sleep, nightmares of Erica kept her awake. Something felt off why wait to start a fight until the next day when there was an entire night left ahead. Realisation dawned on Acacia, they weren't going to wait till the next day the fight was tonight

"Scott watch out" she made it just in time as the huge man from the pack ran at him his name was Enice and he had the worst punches. Scott ducked the claws just missing his head as she looked around quickly to take in the fight, she noticed Allison releasing arrows. Derek had begun to fight the huge Alpha while Isaac, Boyd and Cora struggled on the floor. Everyone she loved was injured and struggling to keep fighting. She hit the large alpha causing him to falter in pain. After that everything played in slow motion as the huge Alpha fell bleeding onto Derek. The Alpha tripped and fell pulling Derek with him, she rushed to the edge trying to catch his hand but he had already fallen to far. His body fell three stories before landing on the ground. That was enough for the alphas to leave they had gotten what they wanted, torment.

"We have to help him" Acacia cried trying to run down the broken steps, Scott caught her pulling her away, he winced slightly his shirt torn and bloody

"Its to late" he whispered gently pulling her into him

"No. No it's not" she cried pulling away from him, she listened closely from the edge for a heartbeat there was nothing. Despite not hearing anything she ran around the broken steps falling occasionally. When she reached Derek's body her hands were covered in cuts and so we're her knees, they'd heal
