Stiles and Scott were waiting in the library for Acacia, she had forgotten that they were supposed to meet and was rushing. Lydia who was amazing at everything had translated the beastiary page on the kanima to reveal a different message to the kanima wanting a friend, it wanted a master. 

"I told you it was weird that Jackson needed a friend" Acacia grinned she loved being right, Scott who didn't glared at her annoyed

"That's everything Lydia can translate and trust me she's very confused" Allison said they were standing on the opposite side of the bookshelf. Scott and Allison had to hide more at school because Allison's mom had begun to work there it was strange being taught by a women who wanted to kill Scott and potentially her

"What did you tell her?" Scott asked not sure if Lydia would be ready for the truth

"That we were apart of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures" Allison laughed along with Scott Acacia didnt she had always liked gameing

"I am apart of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures" Stiles looked at them inoccently

"Its lucky your pretty" Acacia sighed, Stiles looked at her half offended and half pleased

"Okay does it say how to find out who's controlling him?" Scott asked hopefully skimming through the tablet of information he wouldn't be able to read that quickly

"No not really. But Stiles was right about the murderers" Allison looked at her while talking to Scott so it didn't look to suspicious if they got caught

"Yes!" Stiles exclaimed excitedly he was always right but no one belived him, well nearly always right

"It calls the Kanima a weapon of vengeance" Acacia rolled her eyes at him how could he be so smart yet so stupid "There's a story in there about this south American priest who uses the kanima to execute murders in his village"

"All right, see? So maybe it's not all bad" Stiles hoped before he grimaced

"Until the bond grew strong enough that it killed whoever he wanted it to" Allison pretended to pick out a book as someone walked past

"All bad, all very, very bad" Stiles said no longer excited 

"Here's the thing, though the kanimas actually supposed to be a werewolf but it can't be" Allison stopped as a teacher walked past looking down at the book 

"Until it resolves that in its past which manifested it" Scott read aloud

"Okay, if that means that Jackson could use a few thousand hours of therapy, I could have told you that myself" Stiles said with his usual level of sarcasm which annoyed everyone

"What if it has something to do with his parents? His real parents" Allison asked concerned if that was the case it would make things extremely difficult since he had been adopted, the files would be hard to get

"Yeah does anybody actually know what happened to them?" Scott asked

"Lydia might" Stiles offered

"Okay that's my cue to leave things are getting tense at home not everyone appreciates me helping you guys still" there had been an argument when she had gotten back to the den Derek wanted information from her and she couldn't give it to him she couldn't let him kill Jackson

"Then why are you helping us" Allison asked annoyed she still didn't like Acacia even after all she'd done to prove herself

"Because im the only one who's competent" Acacia smiled sweetly, after class she was meant to meet up with Stiles but as Jackson walked down the hall she thought it would be a good opportunity to talk to him
