*Cleo's POV*

I gave up. Max didn't even know me for too long but she could already telllI was exhausted. Am I really that obvious? Well, shit. I gave in to her and closed my eyes to get it over with. It wasn't very pleasant giving into what other people want but she was different. Still hurt but not as much. I care for her, I love her. Wait, no no, what? I've only known her for like a week I can't love her! No way. I spiraled in my head, slightly keeping me awake no matter how hard I tried.

I hugged her tighter and to my suprise, she hugged back. My face heated up with her by my side, I hid it in her jacket. Her comforting warmth and the fact she was here helped me just enough to fall asleep.

*Max's POV*
She looked so precious while sleeping. She doesn't deserve all that's happened. She hugged me tightly and I hugged back. I think I might have a chance, I think I can really be with her. She seems to really like me back. I can't honestly believe im saying this but,
