"Here," You whispered, tears streaming down your face. You couldn't bear to look at him, because you knew that once you did then all of this would become too real. You just wanted to get this over and done with as quickly as possible. "You can have your jumper back," You handed Harry his Gryffindor jumper, the red and Yellow one with his quidditch number on the back of it. He shook his head at you. "I don't want it back," He admitted. "Please don't do this, (Y/n)."

"I've already made up my mind, Harry." You replied. Once you had made a decision, that was final and there was never any going back. So, if this is the decision that you had come to, then it would mean that you had thought long and hard about whether this decision was right; there was always a reason behind your actions. "You know what I'm like once I've made my mind up."

"Please." He begged. "Please can we just talk about this?"

"Harry, don't make this any harder than it needs to be." You cried. "You think I want to make this decision? Do you think I want to break up?" He held your hands in his and sobbed. "Then let's stay together." He suggested.

"Harry, when are you going to wake up and realise that we are not good for each other?" You asked. It was true that the two of you had enough demons of your own without having to battle each other's and neither of you care about yourselves. How can you love someone else when you can't even love yourself first? "Maybe when we've fought off our bad guys, we can try this again." You whispered, placing your hands on his cheeks. "Right now, we're only distracting each other."

"I can't lose anyone else." He admitted, breaking your heart.

"You're not losing me." You reassured him and placed his hand on his chest, where his heart was. "I'll always be there." You touched your own chest in the same place. "And you will always be here."
