{For everyone that has died}

"Harry Potter! You listen to me right now!" You said, grabbing his arm and pulling him back towards you. Spells were flying left, right and centre outside the Great Hall. Voldemort and his army had called an attack on Hogwarts, in the hope that you'd give up Harry so that the school would be left in peace, but everyone banded together to protect Harry. Now, Voldemort had a price. He wanted Harry to meet him in the forbidden forest, vowing to kill everyone he cared about if not. Harry had decided to go and give up his life. "(Y/n). I love you but you cannot change my mind." He looked at you and you felt your heart break inside your chest. You weren't ready to say goodbye; not yet. Not now. Not ever. "Then I'm coming with you." You stated walking ahead of him towards the doors of the Great Hall, this time he was the one to pull you back. "Absolutely not." He said, simply. You were crying as you placed your hands on his face. "Harry." You begged. "Please. You don't have to do this. We can fight him together. The school can fight back!"

"No!" He said, pushing you backwards slightly. "If I don't go he's going to kill the people that I care about, well, the one's that are left anyway." He looked behind you at the rows and rows of bodies that lay in the Great Hall. "I have to do this for the them." He told you. "For Fred, Tonks, Lupin, Snape. For Sirius. For my parents." He stopped and sobbed slightly. "I have to do this for everyone that has died, because of me and for me."

"I don't want to say goodbye. I'm not ready to say goodbye Harry. I love you." You sobbed. "Please don't do this! Please."

"I love you (Y/n)." He said. "When this is all over, I want you to live your life." He kissed me as tears rolled down his face. "I'll see you on the other side." With that he walked away, not looking back once, leaving you a broken mess on the stone cold floor of the Great Hall.
