Pulling off stunts in the freezing cold of Pennsylvania wasn't what Mina Sinclair thought she'd be doing as an adult. But there she was bundled up in an oversized HIM hoodie while bouncing back and forth on her heels in an effort to keep warm. Did she think it was smart that Dunn was sitting in a shopping cart in the dead of night while Bam pushed it over a curb? Not to mention the concrete covered in thin ice. No, no she didn't but her response to most things was fuck it.

The sound of Raab laughing was what kicked her back into reality. Mina carefully walked over to the bushes were Dunn was laying uncomfortably, some of the dead twigs snapped off around him. It made her laugh like most of guys did, hell there wasn't a time where she wasn't laughing around them.

"You still kicking Dunn?" Mina teased him while trying to pull on the sleeve of his hoodie. Who would've know you could find such enjoyment in shopping carts? She couldn't really recall who thought of it first but they've been doing this stunt for a while now. It wasn't long before the guys joined alongside her, Bam couldn't stop laughing at the whole thing. He was always laughing unless Jenn started some kind of bullshit again. Then the afternoon would be ruined, it'd become radio silent and Mina would be pissed until the next day. Thankfully, they were able to avoid the woman and get into some real trouble.

"See at least Min cares, you fuckers would leave me to die." Dunn had managed to untangle himself from the dead bush and crack a joke in doing so. Sometimes he was dramatic in passing but most of the guys played off that. Mina shrugged off his comment playfully.

"Eh I don't know Dunn, you're a hand full sometimes." Mina smirked as he pulled out some of the dead leaves in his hair. Bam was still laughing as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder. The two of them were extremely close after all they've been friends since they were twelve. They met at the local skate park where Mina had been struggling to land her first kick flip and he thought it was hilarious. Ever since then, Bam and Mina stayed inseparable until he met Jenn then things became a little strained.

"Guess whose next!" Bam gently shook her shoulder in hopes of getting her into that cart. There really wasn't a need for much convincing. She mostly participated in any stunt they wanted to pull unless it involved heights than screw them.

"Watch the face though Bam, I don't need any shit from my boss about another bruise." Mina tugged on a strand of his hair while going to fetch the cart again. Last time she agreed to something, there was a nasty bruise near her eye and it raised a lot of questions. Mostly her boss hounded her about covering it up so the customers didn't complain. But Mina couldn't give two shits about her day job. It was the money she needed in order to support herself.

"Don't worry, I won't purposely try to fuck up that pretty face of yours." Mina hopped into the cart holding onto the sides before Bam patted her on her head like he often did. It was times like this that kept her sanity and reminded her that maybe it wasn't all that bad. There was no denying her household sucked but luckily she could escape it with the guys, no matter how many broken bones she had gotten. They were her actual family and if anyone tried to fuck that up, she'd kill them.

"It's not that bad trust me Ape

"It's not that bad trust me Ape." Convincing wasn't exactly Mina's strongest suit. Especially when it came to how nasty the cut on her hand looked from the fall last night. Who would've thought twigs could do such damage? Bam did what he could with the one bandaid and a whole lot of scotch tape.

"Maybe you should stop pulling stunts with the guys for a while, honey. You've got scraps all over you." It wasn't that the guys were too rough with her. Mina just bruised easily and usually would try to go all in just like them. She definitely didn't want to stand on the sidelines like Jenn.

"I'll be okay Ape but thank you." Mina adored Bam's mother but it could've been because her own mom didn't care about her. Ever since Bam had brought Mina back from the skate park that day, Ape took her in like her own. Granted he had gotten a talking to about bringing strangers into the house. Ape was about to change the topic of discussion until Bam walked in with Jenn closely following behind. It was hard for Mina to keep a straight face with the woman in the room. Jenn was irritating in every way possible and it stemmed from the condescending way she spoke to her. Or the threatening conversation when Jenn told her to be careful around Bam and her  'wondering' hands.

"And she lives!" Bam had exclaimed while Mina glared jokingly at him. Everyone was certainly acting ridiculous about her nasty scrap with the twigs. She had definitely gotten into worse situations with the guys around.

"Yes that third layer of tape really sealed the deal Bam. You're a real life saver." Mina swiped at her fake tears dramatically. Ape laughed at the two while Jenn simply glared down at her. According to her, Mina shouldn't have even been interacting with Bam. If you asked anyone around them, most weren't even sure why he chose Jenn to begin with. It was painfully honest that Bam felt something towards Mina and it definitely wasn't one sided.

"That means you owe me big time and I will be collecting payment." She stuck her tongue out at him while grabbing one of the cookies Ape had made that morning. Mina swore up and down Ape had a gift, the gift of making delicious food. It was one of the other many reasons she rarely went home.

"Babe, let's go upstairs." Jenn wasn't exactly subtle in her attempts. It was obvious in the way she was running her fingers up and down his arm while batting her overly coated lashes. Mina could've gagged if it wasn't for the mouthful of cookie. It was really putting a damper of the taste, fuck who was she kidding? It was still delicious. However just the thought of Bam and Jenn fucking made her queasy and it was evident on her face how she felt.

"And that's my cue to exit stage left." Mina hugged Ape goodbye while grabbing her abandoned purse on the counter. After all, she was pretty sure she was cutting it close to when she'd have to be at the coffee shop. So it was the perfect excuse to leave except it was painfully obvious that wasn't the reason. Shooting Jenn a glare, Mina gave Bam a small side hug before trying to dart out of the door. He wasn't really used to the side hugs and awkward avoidance of affection with Mina. They had always been rather affectionate through their friendship albeit questionable to most others. He had wrapped his arms around her midriff and pulled her in closer.

As much as Mina hated to admit it, his hugs made her heart race at a dangerous rate. It felt normal and maybe even like the two fit together like puzzle pieces. He was warm whereas Mina ran a little colder and he always gave a little squeeze in his hugs. Almost like he wasn't sure when he'd see her again so he wanted to show how much he actually cared.

"I'll see you tonight Bam." Mina unraveled herself from him as much as it sucked to do so. He watched her give him a content little smile and walk out the front door. It always felt a little odd when Mina wasn't around the Margera household. Almost like something was missing...
