2004 - Interview with MTV
Mina had been extremely surprised that MTV wanted them to sit down for an interview before the second season. It could've been that Bam informed the production company that Jenn wouldn't be returning after breaking things off. Just like the crew, none of them seemed bothered but were oddly intrigued that he was dating Mina now. Something about their reactions made her uneasy but Bam assured it probably meant nothing.
Now with this interview, Mina was certain the situation would definitely be brought up. Most of the the audience wouldn't care but you had some people who thought they'd have a chance with any of the crew. It came as a surprise to Mina when there was men hopeful they could woo her which was sweet but not possible with Bam around.
"Do I look stupid, I feel stupid." Ryan huffed. When the crew had interviews or more social events, the production company preferred choosing their attire. Mina giggled at the casual button up before scanning the rest of them seeing similar outfits except for Bam's which was red and had several undone. It didn't surprise her that they had 'slyly' matched the color of her dress to his shirt.
"You don't want me to answer that, Ry." Mina laughed. Raab raised his hand to answer the question before she slapped his arm. Most of them were getting fussed over before being directed to the seats to start the interview.
"I feel nauseous as hell." Mina gulped. Her anxiety spiking as the interviewer took a seat angled towards them, reading over the notecards in hand. This wasn't exactly something she'd dealt with before but then again it was a first for most of them. Ryan and Bam had done a few interviews after the first film so they had the upper hand. Bam took the seat beside her, grabbing her hand to squeeze it as an act of comfort.
"It's not that bad, babe." Bam shrugged. Being put in the spotlight wasn't easy for Mina even after dealing with it for a few years. Ever since Jackass, the guys had become a household name quickly. Most teenagers either trying to reenact their stunts or sometimes attempting to seek them out to join. The amount of times Mina had seen clips being sent in of teenagers hurting themselves was outrageous.
"What do you think they're going to ask?" Mina tried to prepare last night for this but failed. Bam had used a different tactic in calming her down which she wasn't complaining about but the makeup artist was. Apparently you need several layers of cheap ass foundation to cover up bite marks and the woman was evidently pissed off about it.
Once the camera crew started counting down to start filming, Mina took a deep breath to collect herself. Hopefully it would be over in no time, she was looking forward to just relaxing before the second season started filming next week. The guys had become very giddy about what they had planned, Bam however had become kind of hush hush about it. Smacking on a wide smile, Mina introduced herself and tried to keep her nerves at bay.

"How the fuck do they think it's right to ask about my sex life but not any of yours?" Mina grumbled. The interview had been shit from the start for her but a walk in the park for the rest of them. Most of the questions were basic enough until it took a weirder turn which had been very unexpected. According to MTV, the audience were very interested in knowing about the personal relationship between Bam and Mina.
It started off innocent enough like how they originally met and things they all did when not filming. But then questions started coming in about if the two were intimate, how she felt about basically being a home wrecker. The giant slap in the face being that she was a whore for what she did but yet the audience was happier with Bam being with Mina.
"I figured everyone already knew you guys were fucking." Ryan shrugged. He could understand the reasoning behind Mina's anger. Imagine a bunch of people you didn't know wanting to butt into your sex life just to broadcast it all over television. All of them were pretty pissed off that MTV was insinuating that Mina was a whore but not as mad that Bam was.
"And to think I was trying to keep a secret." Mina whined, patting at the fake tears on her cheeks as a joke. Living in the spotlight now meant nothing was kept off the table. Especially considering she was now dating Bam who was constantly on MTV and soon to have another season as of next week with filming.
"However being a whore wasn't the ultimate goal here." Mina plopped down on the couch next to Ryan. The commotion in the house at an all time high with all the guys there ransacking the kitchen for snacks. She never understood how Ape dealt with having them all there constantly causing chaos. But figured after so many years it just became normal at this point.
"Yeah but you're my whore though." Bam joked walking back in after ranting to Ape about how bad the interview had been. Mina stuck her tongue at him as he took the seat next to her while Ryan scooted down. Most of the guys were slowly piling in the living room with various snacks and starting to fight over the remote. Bam rested his arm around her shoulder, Mina laying her head on him and yawning.
It was nice to have moments like this where things were relatively calm before the storm. Filming took a lot out of them as fun as it was. Season two could mean a whole lot of mess considering Bam wanted to raise the bar from before. For now, Mina watched her friends destroy the living room and smiled. Hopefully nothing was going to change that much in the coming weeks...
