Estelle Vantel doesn't believe in other people. He tries to get through life but his past traumatic experiences, tying with his emotionally manipulated mother constantly weighs on him.
Theo Trent just really wants to be there for his childhood best friend. But it's hard sometimes since he is on the soccer team while Estelle is just in Art club. Others don't think their friendship fits right, but Theo has never let that stop him.
Mavis Tell is a loner. They meet Theo at a party and seem to hit it off (?), but when Mavis meets Estelle they seems invested in trying to get closer to Estelle. And that worries Theo. How will the three of them finally find acceptance in high school, and will they overcome their past to look forward to the future.
