My soul decays in a prison of void

As my patience blooms into loneliness, my spirit craving the heart of another.

But ignorance serves as soothing anodyne, its drowsing melody pulling me under.

But the malignance of destruction still lingers, even still, and my mind remains encumbered.

Dissonance fills my heart with both worry and content, both threatening to pull my soul asunder.

But silence is wrenched away as my chains are broken by lightning and thunder.

Three words sting my ear, "Take my hand."
