Y/N's POV
As I was about to go inside of my room Kazuha suddenly spoke
" Uhmm Y/n?" I turned around, as she looked at me
"Hmm?" I hummed asking "Goodnight?" she said
I laughed at her softly
"Goodnight" I said showing her my infamous smile, she just looked down but I can clearly see her containing her smile, then suddenly she went inside of her room
I just smiled and was about to go inside of my room again but a heard her.... squealing?
I just laughed at her actions and went inside of my room and drifted to my sleep
As I drifted to my sleep I was awaken by a super load ringing that almost broke my eardrums
When I opened my eyes, blank space greeted me. It was dark but I saw a woman in a hospital bed with a beani on her head and a girl standing beside her
Wait
That's me....
The kid..
It's me and my mother
The 8 year old me was singing 'THROUGH THE NIGHT ' (by LEE JI-EUN) while my mother was still unconscious
It was the song she used to sing to me, a small smile crawl on my lips as I remembered how she used to sang a song to put me in sleep
I miss those days
As I was just looking at them, the vital monitor suddenly let out a sound
It was so loud that I sat down and covered my ears but the little me was confused and already panicking, she didn't covered her ears? But the sound... It's so loud
I just kept my eyes on her while still covering my ears, then a man suddenly appeared in the scene, panic and worry can be seen on his eyes
It's my father
He went outside and come back with a doctor and nurses, they tried to revive her with the defibrillator machine but didn't work after minute of trying.
And the loud ringing sound disappeared
The doctor let out a big sigh before saying "Time of death 8:37 pm, cause cardiac sarcoma" then he looked at my father and the 8 years old me with sad eyes "I'm sorry sir" he said then went out of the room
As the Doctor said those words
My father broke down in tears
He was crying in agony. It was like, his being tortured because of his cries and screams
The little me was just standing at the corner already crying, not knowing what's happening but she can feel her father's pain
As I watch the scene I didn't know I was already crying too. Then a loud ringing sound was heard again as my father's and my 8 years old self's cries became distant
And suddenly..
It black out
As I spring sitting in my bed. The ringing sound continued, I looked at my side and saw my alarm. I wiped my tears as I felt it running on my cheeks before turning it off
6:31 am was written at my clock
I groaned as I feel my head was throbbing as I remember the memory I've been trying to erase in my head
The memory of my mother lying on the bed unconscious
The memory of my father crying and suffering
I closed my eyes tightly as the scene flash in my eyes
I breathe out trying to calm my self before going to the kitchen to drink some water
As I got there I saw Kazuha eating some protein bar while scrolling down to her phone
"Kazuha?" I asked, she looked at me and smile then stand up from sitting and went towards me
She kissed my cheeks before greeting me a "Good morning" as she showed me a smile
I smiled at her and greeted her back
"Good morning, by the way why are you up so early?" I asked "Oh, I'm going to the gym, wanna come?" she asked me "Sure, I'm just going to drink some water and I'll start preparing. Wait me here okay?" I said and she just nodded with a smile
TIME SKIP (cause I'm lazy)
"Hmmp, so ummm..... Let's go?" I asked as I went to where she's sitting
She just nodded as response and we went to the gym
KAZUHA'S POV
We're now heading to the gym, as we got there there's no one else except us. So we just shrug it off
And as I was about to go, I turned my head and I looked at Y/n and saw her taking off her shirt, I stared at her as I feel the time slow down and the only thing I hear is my heart beating loudly
I snap out of my 'daydream' when she went towards me leaving her with a sports bra that fits her perfectly and a confused face written on her face. "I've been calling you three times, are you okay?" she asked me worriedly
"Oh ah yeah I'm okay, um let's start?" I asked her and giving her a smile and she returned it "Sure" she replied as we started warming up
After we finished warming up we went straight to the treadmill and start doing our excercise. As I was doing the treadmill thing, I looked at my side and saw Y/n positioning herself in the tread mill then she started it
I just stared at her observing every move. I'm sorry it's just I can't help it
I was so drowned by her
Her sweats that was crawling down her body
Her serious and determined expression that make her looked so hot
And nothing but the least
Her beautiful and toned abs
I didn't know I was breathing hardly and biting my lips and gulping really hard like there's a big stone in my throat as I stared at her
Arhhg god knows how much I want to touch that
I was snapped by my 'daydream' again when I fell down the treadmill
Fuck it's embarrassing, especially in front of her
"Ouch!" I yelled
"Kazuha, are you okay?" Y/n asked going towards me, I nodded and was about to stand up but I felt pain on my leg "Arhg" I groaned
"Oh c'mon you're obviously not ok, let's go home" she said and I couldn't protest cause she already carried me in a bridal state and pick up our bags before going outside of the gym
