In the rainbow themed room filled with wooden toys, dress up area, shelf's with all kinds of toys you could ever imagine.
On the rainbow carpet Mrs. sunshine the class teacher, told the class enthusiastically about little space, how the safety bubble and wave of feeling younger would take over, then in a snap of a second they would be back to being big.

Overtime the transition and control of coming in and out would be easier.

She told the class to trust in their caregiver to take care of them specially when they would slip.

All this gave Edith more of a headache than the morning class, she could easily learn and take a test. All she had to do was remember everything.

But lay back and let others take the wheel was rather frightening for her, she had become 'mature' at a young age and was always trying to think two steps ahead so nothing went wrong.

Relaying on someone else to make those decisions seemed like allowing someone to set off a bomb to Edith.

Even if a part of her heart longed for that kinda trust, big Edith was horrid at the idea of letting go. She had done that before, the scars on her back and shivers went people touched her upper arms reminded her off that.

It seemed endless until class came to an end and Mrs. sunshine opened the door to the playground telling everyone to go play.

Miles grabbed Edith's hand dragging her to the tree house.

"So what do you want to play?"

"Play?" Edith said raising her eyebrows, she had no idea, so she sued reverse psychology as she called it. But in reality she sucked at making decisions.
"I- I, what do you want to play?"

"Let's play hide and seek!"

Edith hadn't played since she was a child the idea made her giddy, "yes!"

"Ok, you count to twenty I'll hide."

Edith turned around and counted aloud.

She searched the playground instant finding him. They went back and forth for a while playing hide and seek. Edith jumped catching Miles like a spider monkey on a fruit. Making them burst out laughing.

"Excuse me," A voice called out.

Looking at the who it was, Abby and two others were beside her.

"Yes?" Edith asked.

"Can we play with you guys?"

Edith looked at Miles who nodded eagerly, "more the merrier."

Before they knew more and more of their classmates joined in the game, Edith being the finder. She called our name after name remembering everyone of her class mates.

"Only, Abby left," she said to herself as everyone else watched giggling knowing where Abby was.

Hearing a small giggle, she dashed finding Abby.

"Oh, you found me!" Abby pouted.

"Sorry," Edith scratched the back of her neck.

"Let's play again!" Abby yelled making everyone agree.

"Edith can you be the finder again?" A boy asked.

"Doesn't any one else want a turn?" She asked, but everyone said no.

"I can be finder but if someone wants a turn you tell me." Edith shook her head going to the tree to count again.

"-20!" She yelled she scrambled to go find the others, when a foot came out of nowhere making her face plant.

Edith looked up seeing Emma smirking, "you really must be a little baby, tripping over your own feet. How's a royal family ever going to adopt someone so scrawny."

Seeing her clothes now dirty, and the pain on her knees and hands. Edith bit her lip trying not to cry by the wave of emotions that took her over Edith was unable to speak.

"Emma Ball!" Mrs. sunshine yelled making everyone come out of their hiding spot, they gathered around Edith seeing her bloodied knees and scratch hands.

"I saw what just did there, go inside nose in the wall."

Mrs. Sunshine picked Edith up and set her on the counter beside the classroom sinking, cleaning her scratches.

Edith stared into nothing, not wanting speak.
As she was finishing Margie came into the class room.

Seeing Edith's bandaged knees and hands, and look of pain and fear made her scoop her up in her arms.

"What happened?" Margie asked Mrs. Sunshine

"Emma, tripped her while she was running. Her auntie is handling right now. Edith is being a really brave girl, she didn't even cry."

Margie said her thanks to Mrs. Sunshine and brought Edith into their room. Setting her down on the couch. Margie kneeled to Edith's height taking her hands in hers.

"You alright sweetie, that was a nasty fall."

Edith nodded her head gulping. Margie sat Edith in her lap and cradled her.

"Oh, honey it's ok if you want to cry, there's nothing wrong with crying."

This position and the sweet words were too much for Edith, a switch flipped in her and a sob escaped her lips. She cried in pain into Margie's neck as her auntie rocked her back and forth.

"M-my sweater got ruined," she murmured feeling horrible for getting what Francois had just given her this morning dirty.

"We can wash it," Margie assured her.

"Promise," Edith looked up teary eyed.

"I triple promise," Margie smiled.
