A week later
Dr Adleman walks in smiling "why are you so smiley doc? " I raise an eyebrow.
"It's just a good, happy, bright day" he smiles.
"Its raining..? " I gesture to the window and it's pouring rain outside.
"Okay well.. You should have the same opinion as me! " he crosses his arms.
"Why?
" you're getting released today!! " he exclaims and smiles.
"Wha- REALLY?!?! " I shoot up and my eyes widen.
"Yep! "
"Adlemann!! " I yell happily.
Later
I finally have all my stuff packed up and mom and dad are signing me out. I told A-Lan to wait outside and mom and dad would get him..
But little does he know.. I grin
I walk out of the room and over to mom and dad, we still haven't talked but that doesn't mean they aren't happy about me getting out.
I see what I think is blue alien hair that looks exactly like A-Lans from out the window and decide to hide. He stands out there in the rain making me feel a little bad but it'll be worth it.
Mom nods and I hand her my back and smile and run out the door.
It's still raining out and I start running to A-Lans in my street clothes now instead of the hospital gown.
He sees me and looks around to see if it's a prank I'm guessing? Then he runs to me. It wasn't very far of a run so we meet in the middle and he immediately grabs my waist and I put one of mine on his face and one of his back.
"Wha- how- you- YOU'RE RELEASED TODAY!? " He tells looking me up and down smiling widely.
"Yea! That's why we told you to wait out here,. Sorry about getting rained on tho, cause I wanted to surprise you! " I smile at him.
"I'm so happy right now Y/n.." He smiles and puts his forehead on mine "Me too.. You make me so happy" I smile and giggle a little at how clichè this really is... But I like it.
He smiles and connects our lips. Our first kiss since everything went down.
"But dang.. It's about time you got out" he says after he pulled apart.
"I'll be back" I walk over to mom and dad. "Can I go home with A-Lans? "
"Sure.. " they say as they wave and walk off.
I run back over to him and he dips me down.

We were singing and dancing in the rain.. How romantic. Except for the part where people were rushing inside for Emergencies.... Still a hospital.
